I think he's bullshitting. This is the only exotic chest piece for a hunter whose name remotely had something to do with spiders: http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/ATS/8_Tarantella It's eh, but in no way "the best". Plus I highly doubt only 3 people have it....

Because its been confirmed by cozmo he said that it was a bug and the chest piece was suppose to be earned from something else but my friend got it from a legendary engram however the bug a Has been addressed and fixed

There's nothing in the database for an exotic chestpiece called arachnid. There's a helm though, but that's a y1 revamp. The only chest that's name has anything to do with spiders is this : http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/ATS/8_Tarantella

It's alright but I mean it favors bladedancer which isn't very pve friendly. I gotta get me that -blam!-in exotic helm with the void flames spewing out. Perfect for my hunter:)
