As much as I like you, I disagree with this post and this mentality 100%. After working on the advertising end of the industry on some well know titles and franchises ( not to mention being right there when THQ went down ) This is the cost of keeping games at the low price that they have been for over a decade.

Dlc is fine. Cutting it from the game then selling it as dlc is ridiculous. That's what this post is about.

Almost every title brought up in the video had problems with time constraints, creative differences, and being over ambitious, and that is more of the cause of this trend. I think it would have been great to see what Bungie would have done with the ending of H2 or Destiny if they didn't have to be slaves to MS and Sony's release cycles, or what Mojang could do if they didn't have the pressures of limited funding and could take as much time as they wanted. Sadly that's not the way it works, and companies can only delay for so long before they loose hype, run out of funding, or start to operate at a loss ( and the latter are factors directly related to the sale price of games). These posts never take into consideration the economics involved in the production of a game, they just make it seem like there are these nefarious execs twisting their mustaches behind the scenes.

So that's OK for you all to lie and misrepresent the game though?

Who's "you all"? Sounds like you have no idea what is involved in advertising and are just a jaded consumer who didn't research the product they bought and needs to be mad at someone, because they can't admit that they didn't do enough research before making a purchase.

I research plenty, this game marketing was a complete load of shit, they knew they were selling a glorified beta but hey they would never admit that as it would be monetary suicide. Deej said many times in threads from beta saying the game has plenty of content. While he may just be pr that's still marketing of the product in a false light, no way around it.

Pwned.
