Bungie once stated that they plan to keep bringing forward some of the Year 1 exotics, the armory itself has most of the armors listed as having a Year 2 version so maybe it'll be added in sooner or later.

Yeh that's what I've suspected, just want to be sure its not just me and that everyone has the same problem.
