Parents won't let me use mic
I have a mic but my parents won't let me use it with people online, just with my real life friend and we use Skype now anyways. How would I convince them to let me use it? I already have a couple ideas like it's vital to communicate during raids and such but any other ideas?
EDIT: I can and always could hear others. It's just they think people can find my IP and track me down or something. 6 RepliesThe things that old people say to kids online is quiet frankly scary. Your parents are doing the right thing, you can still easily play online, I would not allow you to use mic's online either if you were my kid... It has nothing to do with you either, it's because there are a ton, and I mean a ton of predatory people that will harass you and take advantage of you kid, do yourself a solid and listen to your folks on this one. Your only other option is to find a clan, a legit clan, and ask your parents to talk to the clan leader and so on so they feel comfortable with you talking to people they can approve of. That's about it.
