First of all, destiny's graphics are the times better than that game. You can't compare apples to oranges. I'm talking about a galactic universe where individual guardians and fireteams can fly through different areas of the galaxy and travel to destinations. Sure the loading screens might be longer and more stuff to load in the game but imagine how much fun it would be to customize your ship, and fly with your friends. Maybe in a few years they will have ship races and ship battles where you have pvp playlists for it, customizing your ships with guns and shaders, etc.
