It's okay that I can not headshot-kill a sunbreaker during super

...BUT: When I run a Stormcaller with max armor and an armor increasing chestpiece, it's gotta be the same. And I also want that health regen after a kill. Same goes for the bladedancers. Yes, they have regen, but increase their armor until you can't oneshot them with a high-impact sniper-headshot. Let the titans have their OP super, but give the other classes one aswell and we won't have to nerf anything. How about that? Edit: Obviously the solution is to down the sunbreakers armor so that a high impact sniper (1000yardstare) can headshot kill them during super. I originally wrote this, because I didn't want to have the same discussion as in all the other nerf posts. Titans act like we wanted them nerfed until they are "crap" like a defender, which is clearly not the case. All it takes to be appropriate is a little less armor. That's it. Edit 2: Really guys? You think it's appropriate to need the exotic Black Spindle? -.- Edit 3: I'm aware that Titans only have that much armor if they run max armor plus chestpiece. Someone wrote a good comparsion. Titans OHK my Stormcaller, while my super takes about 4sec to kill them. Stormcaller needs a damage buff. Idc about armor or health regen, the Stormcaller ttk is just way to high. People have ages to counter me. Edit 4: We all know you have to wear a chestpiece... Not a big deal. Regular perk on almost every chestpiece nowadays. It's not like you're sacrificing anything. We also know that you have to spec health regen. So what? Not a big deal if it does what it does... Edit 5: Also Sleeper Simulant is no acceptable solution. See Black Spindle...

  • Efrideets spear, Eirene rr4, black spindle and every other max impact sniper kills a sunbreaker in one headshot. That is all

    • HoS is the only thing sunbreakers have going for them, though. Almost all of their upgrades are for their super. They get to be super awesome every 5 minutes or whatever but are below average for the rest of the time.

        • Actually I think you can with warlocks and hunters already due to the armor increasing chest piece perk.

        • Lower the armor so it has 415 hp (Can be one shot by ldr stats then and GG) But change 1-2 perks in the skill tree. Mix sunkeeper and the solar flare super perk, in its place add another passive, maybe something along the lines of faster and straighter hammer throws (this would make you give up cauterize) Make suncharge more viable an option. Make the default explosions (without hammer forged) a tad bit bigger. They are fine with hammer forged, but without it the radius is very small. Make explosive pyre work with melee and grenades as well as super

          SOME Titan's logic. Just sacrifice a primary exotic slot and a better pvp sniper and just use black spindle! So we need to equip an exotic gun just to defend against a super. Yup, not OP at all

        • agreed. any sniper rifle with more impact than fire rate should one shot every super, with the exception of a radiant skin warlock. reason being, the radiant skin IS the warlock super. they have grenades and one melee, but big deal. their super is the radiant skin. they need to nerf the dmg reduction 50 pct, and eliminate all health regeneration. there is no way in hell anyone that is remotely reasonable can say that having hungering blade, nova bomb blast radius, like 7 of hammers, and the damage reduction of a radiant warlock is somehow balanced

        • I can accept a slight nerfing to Sunbreaker, once bungie disallows other supers from breaking Defender bubble. Save up energy to drop a bubble, just to have a blade dancer, golden gun, or nova bomb wipe it out? No thanks. What is the point in having a defensive ability, if it gets wiped out 2 seconds after use? I have one hit Sunbreakers mid super, as each class, and have been one shot myself, while playing a Sunbreaker. It is a matter of timing, tactics, and play style. Nerfing isn't the answer, adapting is.

          • Unless I run the over shield in sunspots I can and have been 1 shot numerous times by golden gun. Besides the super draining ability I believe warlocks have. That shite is nasty

            • How about instead of that just lower its timer or make us slower. The tanky nature of it fits the Titan archetypes. I disagree with the statement that Defenders are useless in crucible. Weapons of light LDR's down anything.

            • Sunbreaker dmg reduction or hp will be reduced. Idc if their super lasts as long as now or throw as many hammers. But their dmg reduction, hp, or hp regen after kill needs to be tweaked.

                    • As a hunter, I agree. The other day I took a Stormcaller.... (that was stormcalling?) out with one shot, none of there health was missing either. I laughed because, well, I got a kill in the crucible and believe me that doesn't happen often, but I felt bad for the guy.

                    • Sunbreakers can only survive a sniper like a 1000yard stare because they have a max armor build on.

                      • Just take a minute to compare the Warlock's Radiance to Hammer of Sol. Let's say the Warlock has Radiant Skin on. They both have relatively the same same health/time in super except instead of having only grenades to throw the Titan has OHK hammers that do not require the accuracy of sticking someone.

                        • The true problem is that we all are used to the overpowered snipers...how about no sniper can oneshot a person with overshield, a bladedancer, a radiant lock, a sunbreaker. Ill even throw in your stormcaller.
