...BUT: When I run a Stormcaller with max armor and an armor increasing chestpiece, it's gotta be the same. And I also want that health regen after a kill.
Same goes for the bladedancers. Yes, they have regen, but increase their armor until you can't oneshot them with a high-impact sniper-headshot.
Let the titans have their OP super, but give the other classes one aswell and we won't have to nerf anything.
How about that?
Edit:
Obviously the solution is to down the sunbreakers armor so that a high impact sniper (1000yardstare) can headshot kill them during super.
I originally wrote this, because I didn't want to have the same discussion as in all the other nerf posts.
Titans act like we wanted them nerfed until they are "crap" like a defender, which is clearly not the case. All it takes to be appropriate is a little less armor. That's it.
Edit 2:
Really guys? You think it's appropriate to need the exotic Black Spindle? -.-
Edit 3:
I'm aware that Titans only have that much armor if they run max armor plus chestpiece. Someone wrote a good comparsion. Titans OHK my Stormcaller, while my super takes about 4sec to kill them. Stormcaller needs a damage buff.
Idc about armor or health regen, the Stormcaller ttk is just way to high. People have ages to counter me.
Edit 4:
We all know you have to wear a chestpiece... Not a big deal. Regular perk on almost every chestpiece nowadays. It's not like you're sacrificing anything.
We also know that you have to spec health regen. So what? Not a big deal if it does what it does...
Edit 5:
Also Sleeper Simulant is no acceptable solution. See Black Spindle...

I've been killed by Bladedancers several times today. Their attacks come much quicker than hammer throws
-
Stormtrance with transcendence is one of the most OP things in this game. Often 5+ kills.
-
No, no, ANYTHING BUT MORE HEALTH REGEN. TAKE IT AWAY FROM EVERY SUPER (minus red death) PLEASE
-
1000 yard is not a high impact sniper dude. Efrideets spear or black spindle are high impact. 1000 yard stare is medium-high impact. Take that complaint of the list for the love of God people.
-
Both those classes have blink during their super Titan does not so like 10 extra health is not a big deal
-
I love how people say blade dancer is OP however any class can instantly shut them down with a shotgun. *facepalm* bungievision
-
I'd rather they reduce how effective the armor boosts are for every super across the board. Warlock shot out of the sky trying to nova bomb 6 people? Tough crap. Titan caught from behind with a shotty only to Panic fist, LIVE and kill the guy? Again, tough crap. IMO using your super should be a tactical thing, not a get-out-of-jail-free card. Beyond sick of Sunbreakers in particular basically getting a free 5-streak every damn time unless someone has the bow ready.
-
The long and the short of it is, the Sunbreaker is overpowered. You can make all the excuses in the world, but it's as bad as blade-dancer ever was. An armor nerf is absolutely in order, and it's likely going to happen so Titans had better get used to it and accept it. It simply shouldn't be surviving a golden gun shot or a 1000 yard stare headshot. However, even with that nerf, it's still likely going to be a top tier PVP subclass.
-
You don't need black spindle. Gunsmith has an order for the same impact sniper as the spindle
-
I shit on StormCallers all day. Glad I got into sniping months ago. But SB's? Unfair.
-
Titans act like we wanted them nerfed until they are crap like a defender
Defender is so under rated for pvp. It makes me sad :(
-
But hurt warlock never touched a titan
-
How about a simple movement speed reduction? If a Titan is meant to be a tank hell let them be, let's just make it so they can't run laps around the map mid super. All I propose is that once a Titan pops the super there is a slightly noticeable movement speed reduction. It'll give the sensible ones a chance to run off and for the around 30 seconds of super a skilled titan would have the ability to lockdown a lane or control point. Also, since the super is mainly used for crowded rooms and bosses in pve, a movement reduction wouldn't hurt it too much. Other that that, I see no problems or things I would like changed. Seems like some people are wanting to go nerfing it pretty hard and quite frankly it's not necessary
-
Not true iron banner sniper and black hammer/spindle one shots everything
-
It's not okay that I can hit a Titan 20 times with a sword and see no reduction to their health. I don't know if they're just that OP, or if the player was running a lag switch or what, but that's happened at least twice to me now: Nearly empty my heavy sword ammo on a sunbreaker and not killing them?
-
right then give titans blink OH... Wait... yeah...
-
how about we nerf everything. no one dies, and its a peaceful time. buy nerf gun from xur tickles enemies guarunteed happiness
-
I have a better idea. How about we buff blade dancer and defender? They are complete shit in crucible
-
Then why the -blam!- can a void walker get killed mid nova bomb????????
-
Reduce armor so that they can be head shot by any sniper rifle with a visible impact bar at least. Other than that, it's..... bearable....
-
Bladedance takes 2 slashes to down a HoS keep in mind you have to get close. HoS takes 1 hammer to down arc blade & stormcaller at Range. Stormcaller does 49 to a sunbreaker titan, meaning 4 hits but to the arc blade hunter it would only take 3.
-
NERF IT ALL
-
Just wait for that omolon sniper on armsday, starts with an e, forgot the exact name. Has extremely high impact, almost equal to the spear. Rip everything
-
I wouldn't mind us Bladedancers gettin' an advanced Razor's Edge as far reaching as the Psions have. With the floating charge start up with it, of course-
-
1000-Yard Stare did not one shot a Sunbreaker for me, but I just did a follow up shot. Pretty easy if you ask me
-
Shit, what about gunslinger? You can slap a gunslinger in golden gun with a flaccid penis and they die.
