...BUT: When I run a Stormcaller with max armor and an armor increasing chestpiece, it's gotta be the same. And I also want that health regen after a kill.
Same goes for the bladedancers. Yes, they have regen, but increase their armor until you can't oneshot them with a high-impact sniper-headshot.
Let the titans have their OP super, but give the other classes one aswell and we won't have to nerf anything.
How about that?
Edit:
Obviously the solution is to down the sunbreakers armor so that a high impact sniper (1000yardstare) can headshot kill them during super.
I originally wrote this, because I didn't want to have the same discussion as in all the other nerf posts.
Titans act like we wanted them nerfed until they are "crap" like a defender, which is clearly not the case. All it takes to be appropriate is a little less armor. That's it.
Edit 2:
Really guys? You think it's appropriate to need the exotic Black Spindle? -.-
Edit 3:
I'm aware that Titans only have that much armor if they run max armor plus chestpiece. Someone wrote a good comparsion. Titans OHK my Stormcaller, while my super takes about 4sec to kill them. Stormcaller needs a damage buff.
Idc about armor or health regen, the Stormcaller ttk is just way to high. People have ages to counter me.
Edit 4:
We all know you have to wear a chestpiece... Not a big deal. Regular perk on almost every chestpiece nowadays. It's not like you're sacrificing anything.
We also know that you have to spec health regen. So what? Not a big deal if it does what it does...
Edit 5:
Also Sleeper Simulant is no acceptable solution. See Black Spindle...

Sun breakers need to be nerfed. I hate Titans so I had two hunters and a warlock. Well for shits and giggles I made a sun breaker and deleted a hunter.. Look at my recent crucible stats on my brand new Titan. It tells the story.
-
NO. Storm caller would be so OP. That's like saying golden gun and bladedancer also deserve that much damage resistance
-
Can we not buff or nerf anything right now?
-
Edited by Camisto: 10/8/2015 5:50:20 AMIf stormcallers armor was the same as sunbreaker and gave them health regeneration on kills... they would be even more powerful than sunbreaker. So would blade dancers for that matter, we already saw that at launch.
-
Sunbreakers should also have landfall perk that destroy everyone nearby when activated and also increase the chain explosion so it will be as far as chain lightning.
-
It took me two golden gun shots but for him it only took one hammer. Yea. That's no Bueno #bungie #help

https://youtu.be/Hn5SzSaLG0I :44 seconds 1shots Fully Shielded Sunbreaker. Your argument is now invalid.

(This was intended for hunters at the time of writing, tho I do agree the warlocks got a bit shafted) To quote many hunter mains from year one "They hate us cuz they ain't us" "Git gud scrub" In all reality I am biased. I main a Titan. I love all 3 classes, and greatly enjoy hunter and warlock, but Titan has always been my baby (excluding pvp) (and currently the only character I've leveled in TTK). But here's the little thing that people don't seem to realize. Titans fight other titans in the crucible as well. We have to evade hammers the same as you. I've learned how to counter them. RUN. Get distance and break line of sight. Don't challenge a Titan in super. It's that simple. That's what I do, and I'm a Titan. Second, and this seems to be the hot button issue, the Titan armor while in super. I mostly see this compared to blade dancer, which is in a sense true. Titans have the highest base armor. Hunters have the highest base agility. Both supers accentuate those rolls. The reason bladedancer is so strong is not the damage reduction, it was the damage mitigation. If your using it correctly you can avoid being hit. Titans get awesome armor, because that's our role. Counter with a super of your own. 2 golden gun shots is fair, considering titans had to waste their entire havoc over 1 bladedancer for a year. At least you have one (or two, depending on exotic usage) shot left to take out another player. And you can fire GG shots a hell of a lot faster, and farther than a hammer. Lastly, the super is the only strong area of that subclass. I used to pvp with my hunter and warlock because of the passive perks available. The sunbreaker does not have passive perks that help in a pvp environment. I can't yet comment on the passive perks of the new warlock and hunter builds, but I've seen enough of the hunters to know how good the passive abilities are. In summary, calm down and enjoy the game. If you see a Titan in super, or hear the "gong" of activation, -blam!-ing get out of there. When in doubt, bug out. *please do not assume I mean all hunters are represented by the vocal minority. Hunters kick ass, just as much as titans and warlocks. Tl;dr - Read the damn post. I put it in paragraphs and everything.
-
A golden gun shot doesn't kill Sunbreakers either
-
1. You can headshot them out of their super with the highest impact snipers. 2. Is your auto aim, chaining super not good enough for you?
-
I already wasted 1 rocket in a hunter using gg, and dint get the kill, the rocket exploded on his face...
-
Bladedancer wiped out WHOLE TEAMS! And also had health regeneration, but the fact is we never had the opportunity to have multiple kills as Titans regularly. Now we do and you're mad. Get over it.
-
Edited by RandomLettersMS: 10/8/2015 5:51:44 AMHahahaha, mate, you can't one shot a sunbreaker with a damn direct hit with a rocket launcher P.s.blade dancers can get hp regen after a kill
-
OK, but Titans then can have extra agility and movement speed to make it fair.
-
So can the sniper that Banshee gave out today do it?
-
Been doing a crap ton of mayhem rumble and I can confirm that I was able to be 1 shot by GG and a high impact sniper.

You want the armor of a titan...the tank class of Destiny for your hunter/warlock? Fine, so be it but then I want the recovery/agility of your hunter/warlock. A S.B. titan spec'd for armor can't outrun a bladedancer/storm caller...Seems unfair that I can't do that...Sooo are you willing to sacrifice your recovery/agility if I sacrifice my armor...?
-
I CAN ONE SHOT A SUNBREAKER WITH MY SPOOKINESS!!!
-
I like being a defender...
-
I got a better idea. Make only Very high impact snipers be able to kill any body mid super. Get rid of the training wheel snipers like LDR/Her Benevolence/1000yardstare shutting down supers.
-
I just don't understand why people don't just throw a second bullet in it or just run.... Like why the hell are you trying to go face to face with someone with a super?
-
No. Stormcallers are already very powerful and it works well the way it is.

Edited by HoboCommand3r: 10/7/2015 8:55:16 AMhad a few instances yesterday where I'd heashot a sunbreaker with my 1000 yard, leave him at 5% health but since every teammate had ran away in fear no one followed up and i got hammered before I could hit him again, then he'd regen all his health and kill the rest of my team, lol. Then again I was playing sunbreaker myself all night and had an average kd of 4+. It's extemely powerful. The explosive pyre perk is so strong too. it pretty much turns anyone you kill into a hammer of sol blast, and the next person you kill as well, and it keeps chaining. I hada breaker last night where the 4 people were spread pretty far out but the first guy just started a chain reaction and in the end they all died, to 1 hammer. Honestly just lower the armor a bit and it wouldn't be too bad. But if you get sniped in the head by something that would kill a stormcaller and bladedancer you should die imo, since it's easier for sunbreaker to health regen than any other super. Much easier than as a bladedancer since you don't need to get close to your enemies.
-
Titans don't get health regen automatically, it's a choosable perk, faster regen of nades and Meele, enemy's killed by your Fire regen your health or you can pick sunspots drop where ever your hammer impacts
-
I've been killed by Bladedancers several times today. Their attacks come much quicker than hammer throws
