It's okay that I can not headshot-kill a sunbreaker during super
...BUT: When I run a Stormcaller with max armor and an armor increasing chestpiece, it's gotta be the same. And I also want that health regen after a kill.
Same goes for the bladedancers. Yes, they have regen, but increase their armor until you can't oneshot them with a high-impact sniper-headshot.
Let the titans have their OP super, but give the other classes one aswell and we won't have to nerf anything.
How about that?

Obviously the solution is to down the sunbreakers armor so that a high impact sniper (1000yardstare) can headshot kill them during super.
I originally wrote this, because I didn't want to have the same discussion as in all the other nerf posts.
Titans act like we wanted them nerfed until they are "crap" like a defender, which is clearly not the case. All it takes to be appropriate is a little less armor. That's it.

I'm aware that Titans only have that much armor if they run max armor plus chestpiece. Someone wrote a good comparsion. Titans OHK my Stormcaller, while my super takes about 4sec to kill them. Stormcaller needs a damage buff.
Idc about armor or health regen, the Stormcaller ttk is just way to high. People have ages to counter me.

We all know you have to wear a chestpiece... Not a big deal. Regular perk on almost every chestpiece nowadays. It's not like you're sacrificing anything.
We also know that you have to spec health regen. So what? Not a big deal if it does what it does...

Yes, it's perfectly fine. Titans are THE tank class - their super should be something you run from, not rush into. Ask yourself, would you shotgun a mudslide or an avalanche? I would certainly hope not...

2 RepliesTitans should have high armor and should be a little harder to kill. The warlock should have quick recovery and the hunter should be the most agile. We all know this. I have all 3 characters and I'm a strong believer that once a "pvp" dominate super is active it should be the same equally amongst all 3 classes. Fair is fair. When supers are not active then I agree titans should be the hardest to take down but have the lowest agility and average recovery. People just look to much into making drastic changes to all the classes when small tweeks is all that this would need.

35 RepliesA lot of people don't seem to see the ultimate problem with sunbreaker. I've been scrolling through this post and I've seen a lot of people say "oh, well if you just use black spindle or efrideets spear" WHICH IS A YEAR 1 WEAPON, and therefore will become irrelevant during iron banner and trials once they roll around. LDR, efrideet, black hammer all will become irrelevant during "level advantages enabled" game modes. What does that leave you with? 1000 yard stare? Nope, not enough impact to one shot a sunbreaker with a headshot. How about Hereafter? Nope, it has the same problem as 1000 yard stare. So, what do we have left? That's right, black spindle. Some people also say, "well, I've seen players (true vanguard) one shot sunbreakers before". Sorry to. Tell you this champ, but TrueVanguard is an above average player with a very high amount of skill when snipers are concerned. It's like saying "well if Christiano Rinaldo can play soccer that well, why can't i?" Meanwhile you're playing youth soccer. TrueVanguard is in a totally different league from the average player. "Well, you have to adapt to survive!" No, just no. There are so many things wrong with this statement, I can't even fit it all in one post. Let me humor you all with a story. I know someone, we'll call him Shawn. Shawn and I played crucible a lot, and in turn he would hear me whine and moan about how over powered thorn and last word were (before the rebalancing of course). And he would tell me, time and time again, "well, if you used the ram..." NO! I should not have to change my play style in such a way that I have to go so far as to change a piece of my load out in order to compensate for the amount of damage a certain weapon does in order to actually enjoy the PVP section of the game. If I go around the corner and I see someone with this weapon/super and the first thing that shoots into my head is "oh shit, I'm screwed. Nothing I can do but die" followed by nolandroid annoyingly saying "guardian down". THEN THAT THING IS OVERPOWERED! Do people just refuse to acknowledge that? I don't get it? Let's recap what the sunbreaker can do: 2x health/shields, 6 one hit attacks, tracking of said one hit attacks, and if you get a kill with said tracking one hit attack, your health restores (should you choose to use the perks). If one subclass is able to do one thing (like restoring health upon killing an enemy) and there are two other subclasses that do the same thing (projectile one shot kills) then the two other subclasses need to either be buffed to be equal to that one subclass, or the one subclass needs to be nerfed to be equal with the two other subclasses. Otherwise, what's the point. You can defend sunbreaker all you want, but just admit it's overpowered already

11 RepliesHmm, when I hear a Sunbreaker activate I run in the opposite direction. As a result of this action, I rarely ever get killed by Sunbreakers. I wait a little bit then turn around and find them and kill them after their super is depleted.I also use this strategy with many other supers and find it to be very effective against them. Maybe you should try it instead of running at guardians with active supers thinking you're gong to kill them with your little gun.

No Super should be canceled by a Sniper Headshot. Not even Golden Gun, but they'd need to significantly reduce the Aim-Assist if they gave it Damage Resistance.

Sun breakers need to be nerfed. I hate Titans so I had two hunters and a warlock. Well for shits and giggles I made a sun breaker and deleted a hunter.. Look at my recent crucible stats on my brand new Titan. It tells the story.
