Weekly What's update
Here we go - answering all your questions. This week we cheated and got all of our questions from the HBO forums, because ours were busted. The HBO crowd is a classy, curious lot, as you'll see inside.

Magnums will forever be worthless now. Tell all the little -blam!-s that complained about them THANKS. Glad to see that the release dates for the maps were announced again. It's not like there posted on the front door of every game shop in America. Oh wait did I just say door? I ment: Door Cash Registar Game Shelf News Add Buttons that the employies wear So people stop asking stupied questions without doing some reasearch first, GOSH!!! If you don't know by now then it will be an even bigger surprise on JULY 5. Also Bungie when will the Needlers be given the respect they deserve? I believe that the needlers should be twice as powerful, and the lockon should be better too.

Hey, what game genre will your next game be? Do you expect your next game to be as notorious as the H A L O series? If it is another H A L O game, will you add some of your Ideas that you cut from H A L O 2, like the ATV. If it is another H A L O game, could you add online co-op, those other warthogs, the choice to have the weapons from H A L O 1, some REAL camo, the ability to change your mask color, the ability to use your flash light in multiplayer, combat knife, to switch battle rifle from burst to semi automatic, have boats maybe some ship battles, and please DONT! put a flame thrower in the next H A L O, i hate flame throwers, and put in mines and or timed grenades. i also have some multiplayer game Ideas, bomb diffusal (where each team starts at there opponents base and rush to there base to diffuse the bomb), skull dodgeball (where you throw the skull at someone and if they get hit they're out), kill to survive (where you must kill atleast one person in under a minute or you die), pitch black slayer (where it is an all black level and you can only see five feet infront of you and you have NO map) that is it, hey frankie tell me watcha think.

I know there won't be any emblems in the updates, but do you think in your next game you could have customizable emblems? I know, you're saying, "Shade, we already told you that people would make them obscene". But see, first you make only a certain level of customization, and then you make a new feedback option that says, "Offensive Emblem". I'm a genious... This is also what I think about you're next Halo game, first, make it your next project. You [u]know[/u] everyone is pissed about the ending. Don't try to deny it. Don't rush this time either. Take your time. We want the experiance the game in its [i]full[/i] glory. And another thing... Different Character classes. Just think, lumbering into battle as an enormous Hunter, screaming in fear as a grunt, buzzing through the skies as a Drone, etc. But there could be things to balance it out, like add shields to grunts, remove enormous shield/melee object on the Hunters arm, etc. Most of all, though, make all of these options changeable through the match options, and keep most of the Matchmaking games with only Spartans and Elites for balance, but make at least one type where all are accepted. Each class would use the D-pad for their "Special" for Grunts it would be taunt, for Drone it would control some of the flying(Cling?), can't think of anything for the rest... but you probably could. It would also be good to be able to change class at the respawn point, but only at the beginning of the game would make sense too... I'm a genious...

Hey Frankie, Two ideas for Halo 3, or a possible update, I think these ideas would be really helpful to other people: 1. Have some kind of option to select a language for matchmaking instead of getting stuck with people you cant communicate with for a tactical game like team slayer. 2. For custom games, allow leaders to record a set of rules for the game instead of people joining and missing instructions, and ruining the game. This would also prevent the leader from constantly having to repeat the instructions for the game. Thankz, I hope you take these ideas into consideration, Islandboyz20

That would make it REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY HAAAARRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDD for live to find a game because it would have to match like 8 prefrences. Now a level(stage) preference might work because thats much broader. good idea though

I don't know if this has ever been asked/answered before, but wouldn't it be better to have a "Preferences" section for your accounts in Halo 2 where you could choose what gametypes you like/hate playing... Ex: Shotguns: No Snipers: Yes I believe this would stop most quitters from quitting because they know that they will only play the levels/settings they like... Just a thought.

i was reading the weekly what's update, and someone mentioned something about having race in the playlists. I have to admit myself that race was great in halo one because u could have great warthog wars. could you possibly just return the gametype to custom games so us hog fans can have more than four in a level at one time? oh and could u make it not possible for you to pick up a plasma pistol while carrying a battle rifle or carbine and vice versa. I have lost many games do to this "noob combo" and have been very frustrated at the frequency people use it. thanks

It seems to me that Bugnie is making Horrible gametypes now. Pistols on Lockout? Who's bright idea was that? Or another example, 1v1 Oddball. It just seems that some of the game types are completely one sided depending on where you spawn. When will Bungie fix all these one sided gametypes and stupid gametypes?

hey spud i aggree with u its not your connection even make a game about it with three people and be on the same team and have one person beon one side of the lvl and havethe other two kill each other and it will say the person doing nothing did it i think bungies system has some proble in it that needs to be fixed and believe me it happens to every one but most people dont know about it because theirs actuly some desent players that i know that dont betrey people intentualy but ive not lost a level from it yet oh and if u check the score list at the end of the game it shows which person was betraying people and dosent show any betrayals on the person that gets booted for it so whats up with that bungie!

Aright, i have had some problems with XBL. Someone might have said this in another way or form but when i play games especially big team battle it says that i betray my teamates like randomly. When it says i do i am not even near that player or i didn't thorw any grenades or shoot anything iwas simply like walking down an isle or something. So then when it happens a couple times a game and i really never did the boot option comes up and my teamates think i am doing it on pupose and being a noob but i really am not. so i have lost alot of levels and can't get them back and most of my friends say they don't want to play with me any more becasue of it. I think it is internet problems but i am not sure. do you have any advice or things i can do to prevent this? please i really want to know nad need to know becasue it makes halo suck realy bad and it is my favorite game.

When is the price on the Xbox 360 going to be announced. I keep hearing people say it is like 600 and other say 350. I think it is about time to announce the price, after all it is only like 4 months till november.
