Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post then. I just don't see how it's an exploit, it seems like that's meant to happen. I need to look into those gauntlets and Tom then because from what I read it sounds normal.

the exploit isn't what the gauntlets are doing. they are doing their job. Touch of malice does extra damage when you are down to the last bullet, while hurting you at the same time. That's the perk... the give and take to that perk is extra damage, but you get hurt too. and if you don't reload, you will kill yourself. the Exploit is... once the gauntlets reload your ammo... the double damage perk of Touch of malic should stop... but it's not. it stays there, even though you have a full mag back, AND... AND.. you no longer are getting hurt. re read my post.. and you will see I clearly mention all that.
