A guy got torn in half in front of my house just now....

I just came back from school and was in my room when I heard this big crash ouside. I walked out and went toward the street in front of my house. Down the street was a car with it's side destroyed and a motorcycle some 80 feet from the car. I ran to the scene a saw the motorcyclist torn in half by the sheer force of the accident. If you never seen human organs for yourself, it's nauseating. His intestine , colon, stomach and one lung was thrown on the ground accompanied by a gigantic pool of blood. It was utterly sickening. Cops and and paramedics later came and put sand to help soak up the blood. But watching the paramedics pick up the mans battered torso and legs made me turn my head away. Damn..... •
Posted by: Fervahn I saw a video a of some girl(I forgot where) get ripped in half by a bull that had escaped, and no one even helped her. Also on the news there was this girl who was dragged around a neighborhood by a dog. Her parents video taped the whole thing and they didnt even do anything to help her they just waited till the dog let go of her face.
Yeah... this is kind of sickening about people. You would think that the more people around something like this, the more likely for someone to help. But on the contrary, the more people around an incident, the less likely it is for someone to help. This concept is actually called diffusion of responsibility, people figure that if there are a lot of people around, there will be someone else who is more qualified to help them or someone who will help. I don't mean to sound like a geek, but this study was conducted by a psychologist named Darley in the 70's, I believe. So, if you see someone in trouble in a crowded place, you will probably experience this. Thinking about it now, you would think that you would get up and help because you aren't an -blam!-. But this affects everyone.

 •
Posted by: sg SHADY Liz3rd here, I found some proof of the accident in our city's paper. Look at the last topic in the page.
I don't think that is the correct story, but I would like to see the story about it-if it is true. The one you posted above said the motorcyclist suffered head trama, and that there were no other vehicles involved. Plus the story said there is "viewing" at the funeral home. I don't think so! I saw a guy get hit by a car while on a motorcycle, he went flying! He was okay, But I don't know about getting "torn in half!" I guess it could be possilbe, but I don't believe it. You want to know something?? The aide car for the bike showed up faster than the ambulance! The guy riding the bike had just got done fixing it from the Harley shop and went out on a test drive and got hit-the Harley shop showed up before the ambulance! The guy was allright. I guess it depends on the point of impact and what happened after that. I was reminded of my friend who died at a young age while riding his bicycle. Not a pleasant memory. He had to be cremated because of the damage done to his body. I call false on the story-unless I see some proof of an article.

 •
Posted by: Gmaster7
Posted by: hitokiri 1000 To be fair, he shouldn't have been going over the speed limit. Unless of course, the speed limits are much higher over there. After all, he would have to have been going very fast for the force of the impact to do such a thing. Yes, I know, I'm cold and heartless. But I can't help the way I am.
No, but theropy can.
AND A PICKLE NAMED LARRY! BUT did that REALLY happen?

 • /\ Yes you do...hahaha jk But that really sucks for buddy. I dont know how meny of you have been in a car/motor bike accedent but you cant really explain it other then it happens before you know your in trouble and it is followed by a very long pause (in shock). Then you snap out of it and wonder if the other guy made it. Thats a good crash and those really really suck. Ive been in several car accedents, where nobody was seriosly hurt, just minor sht but it still sucked writting off a car, and all the other fender benders add up quick. I lost my best friend when we were 18, he hit a telephone pole and then the car cault fire. It was the middle of the night...and he had no chance. Everyone here will loose someone they know in a car accedent. But he was like a brother to me, so I really feel bad for the guys family and friends. There going to be hurting for a long long time.
