I think that you're parents are absolutely wrong. I am 14, yes very young, and not fully matured yet, but I believe that if a child understands whats the rights and wrongs in life first, then modernized violent games will not influence them. You seem very mature (if this VERY descriptive story is real), therefore I don't think the game will make you end up being the next terrorist. I was born Catholic, the only rules in the household is no disobeying the word of the lord (in some lesser extent), and you cannot switch religions. Some parents need to see that, you can't protect your child forever, you should set them up for the real world before its too late (I think video games are a part of this too). If you don't play video games when you're younger, how are you going to time manage how you play video games later in the future if you don't have a base to start with when move out of the house? I know this may sound a bit idiotic, because its video games, but there are so many things video games can teach you
