Reporting Users: Keeping the Community Clean

Code of Conduct under the cut (Of course most of us already know it)
Stuff That Rocks Treating everyone with respect. Making online friends. Talking about stuff you're interested in. Sharing the cool stuff you create. Planning time to play with cool people. Creating and Joining Private Groups. Taking responsibility for your own actions. Stuff That Sucks Personal attacks, harassment, or violations of privacy. Disrespect based on race, creed, gender, orientation, or disability. Depiction or description of gory violence or explicit sexuality. Breaking the law, plotting, or describing illegal activities. Spoiling games with hacks, cheats, or unreleased story details. Distributing unauthorized, copyrighted, or trademarked material. Soliciting, plagiarism, phishing, or impersonating other users. Bungie reserves the right to moderate this website and everything on it. These guidelines require your best judgment, so please play nice. If you're not sure if the stuff you're about to share is appropriate for Bungie.net, don’t post it. That'll help you stay clear of the Banhammer's blast radius.
A reminder to #Offtopic/#Flood why reporting rules being broken is important. This is me basing my knowledge under the assumption that mods work here as they do on many other sites And that is that they run on a system that requires help from users. As they are volunteers and people as well, mods can't feasibly see everything that's wrong or should be taken care of. It's up to users to give them a hand by reporting or messaging a moderator when a problem comes up. "Smi, why are you bringing this up?" As we know, when a post gets reported enough they become hidden until a moderator can address/judge it I see quite a bit of people asking, "Why hasn't this been banned yet?" However the post is still open for all to see. Which means not many are reporting it. For a domino effect, that also means a mod more than likely isn't aware of it. If you see content that's breaking the CoC in any way then please click the report button. If it's been up for a half hour-an hour I would message someone to see what can be done. (Feel free to correct me on any of this) Having a bit of fun and skirting the boundaries is all great and encouraged But when that's taken advantage of let's do our part and keep this place as clean as we can.
