Well, that's a good question. Depends on what our light comes from [i]exactly[/i]. I think it is stored inside the ghost. I say this because Guardians only [i]die[/i] when they don't have their ghosts (such as the guardian in front of the Temple of Crota or any of the "lost" Guardians like Dredgen and Kabr).
