Ok I'm just going to say this first since you said it last. Fallen houses were there before the Whirlwind on the eliskni home world. House rain was the closest to Alpha Lupi and got hit the hardest when she left. -FWC use a machine that was made to simulate different futures. They don't control them, they don't walk through them, they view them. The machine acts as a window into a possible future. Most test subjects that have entered the machine report of darkness and go insane shortly after viewing. -Alpha Lupi is here to stay. She decided to stop running, saw the strength in us, and stayed. While she has given other races the golden age-and-run, she wants to fight with us against the darkness. -Rasputin definitely attacked the darkness in the area now known as the reef right when the collapse happened, then shut down so it could analyze and learn about the darkness.

Alpha Lupi is what most people assume as the Traveler's "spirit". I know that sounds weird but hear me out. Most of the "Dreams of Alpha Lupi" could fit under a few other characters, but they fit together the best if you think of the Traveler saying them. So there must be some kind of connection between the two. Right? Well, Alpha Lupi translates to "Alpha wolves". Where do they talk about wolves? THE "Law of the Jungle" DESTINY TRAILER! How? They say, and I quote, "For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack." We heal Alpha Lupi (the wolf), she gets strength. We (the pack) get our light from Alpha Lupi, we get strength.
