Thorn should stay in year one. It caused a crucible meta where the only way to compete was getting a thorn, last word, or a hawk moon. I used hopscotch pilgrim during this time and didn't do to bad because of the two burst headshot kill BUT, if thorn is brought up to year two it could cause another Mets and ruin the perfect state crucible is in.

Exactly, a meta in a game which does not use attack stats.

Not really. Bungie nerfed it hrd regardless. Y2 or not anyway, number/level stats don't matter in crucible except ToO, and Ib, so it'd be the exact same thing regardless if made Y2 in Crucible.
