Go watch this cutscene again. I think it holds a lot of secrets that we probably glanced over during our first play through. One of the main ones being: Mara Sov is narrating a good amount of the cutscene, including her supposed death scene, and even after that. I don't think she is dead, not just because she talks after she "dies" but also because of what she is saying near the end. Now she could also be talking from some sort of afterlife, but I chose to think she is still alive. Sure we have met with the queen on a few occasions, but not very many. There has been: •When you went to the reef the first time to get into the black garden •When you went to the reef the second time when you killed the vex gate lord The only other thing that has happened with the queen is the house of wolves, and she was only in the cinematic trailer, the opening cutscene to house of wolves, and the coming war cinematic. There is so much that can be done with this character and her brother crow (we also never saw him actually die, and if you think he is dead, show me the body). They are both very interesting characters and I don't think bungie would just kill them off after one year of light story content. But the interesting thing is that if the queen and crow are alive, Petra and the reef do t know about it. During one of the story missions in the taken king Petra says a few things that make it sound like she thinks the queen is gone. So if she [i]is[/i] alive what do you think happened to her? Where is she? The start of year two has been a major leap forward in the story telling, and I hope to see it continue in the future!
