Simple question.
DeeJ said in an interview that he doesn't want us to look at our favorite weapon and consider it obsolete. I look at my Ballerhorn, Thorn, Dragon's Breath and...they're obsolete. Just a poll to see where the community stands. Bump so Cozmo can see.
Edit: Woke up to a billion notifications. Thanks for all the feedback. But you guys that say "Oh, well no because gjally never left my heavy slot." That's your own fault. There were plenty of decent heavies in Year One. You guys were too chickenshit to try them. Thunderlord and Dragon's Breath, in many cases, can do just as much damage as Gjally can, if not more. Especially post 2.0. And I don't care if Gjally stays in my inventory for the next ten years, I have a story with a weapon I love.
Edit 2: Seeing a lot of people being open to the idea, but leaving Gjallarhorn behind. In all honesty, I'm completely fine with this. Gjallarhorn is an amazing weapon, but it's lethality was ridiculous. As long as I can have all my other exotic weapons and armor, I'll be fine. Keep bumping and commenting! We've been trending for a while! Get Cozmo to see and comment on this!

I would actually like some of the legendaries as well.
-
Not all of 'em. I just want my MIDA back.
-
Edited by Dimitri: 9/22/2015 2:15:11 AMWanna try new guns out so no.
-
This may sound dumb..... But I shoot real guns..... Damage never changes..... Lol
-
I'm okay with all but the major ones I want are the SGA, and both raid weapons.
-
All I want is my thorn, that's it. Just nah thorn.
-
I think exotics..by their very nature...should always be relevant. Legendaries and raid gear can stay behind but I wish my MIDA was with me fighting the taken
-
I could care less about legendaries bit the exotics are special
-
Move on
-
They said "all weapons deserve a story" and a story consists of a beginning, middle, end. Players are refusing to let their weapons have an ending.
-
I don't think bringing thorn and gally to Y2 levels would EVER be a good idea. Honestly I don't like that they brought ANY gun except ps exclusives to Y2. Those should have been the only ones brought back.
-
Nah, played too much with the old exotics. Tired of them. Good memories but they should stay memories. If I ever wanna be nostalgic, I can just grab one and go do patrol for a bit to reminisce.
-
All Raid/Poe exotics should be brought forward.

No because we don't need Thorn in trials.
-
If there was significantly greater selection I would say no. However, since the selection is severely limited, why not bring them all over?

Change brochacho, its the idea of a grinding game and mmo. You play the game to get food gear to do the harder stuff to get the better gear to do harder stuff to get better gear and so on. No rpg game I know of has ever let your first boss battle weapon be efficient against the 5th one, because the further you go on the stronger and harder they are but the boss you best before drops items that are better than what you had originally. Tbh this is what they should have done to begin with, but bungie is still trying to make weapons that are better than before but its hard to meet expectation when everybody wants to just clear the game like its nothing. True I have farmed exotics and cheesed raids but that's because it was difficult in vanilla, and it felt great getting the better weapons than what I ran with. Yes the dark below weapons and HoW weapons sorta sucked but from what I be heard the kings fall weapons are phenomenal and the touch if malice is the ultimate primary. I know once I get that or jade rabbit ill be running them non stop but when the new dlc comes out I know I'll be jumping to those real quick, bwcause they're stronger than the ones before
-
Yes they should. Make it have a long quest (PvE or PvP) that we need to do to discover a new blueprint for it after we get the original one. Allowing the quests to take a PvE or PvP path will help those of us who hate one side or the other. Ghorn blueprint example for PvE: 1. Complete a Nightfall 2. Complete 50 Heroic Strikes 3. Complete all three tiers of Court of Oryx 4. Various quest tasks PvP: 1. Billion kills 2. 92,678 kill streak 3. Achieve rank 25 in IB 4. K/D above 2,341:1 5. Defeat me in PvP ...lol on the PvP task as only step 5 is easily doable.

Vex, Necro, and PoE exotics should have been Y2 from the start. Don't understand why they would leave out the raid (exclude Poe is not a raid) exotics. Adding them to Y2 would've made newer players have a full reason to do the older raids.
-
I'd like them to bring them up to a certain year 2 damage level - like perhaps JUST 275. Cannot be upgraded anymore. At least then you can use them in ttk but without using them as a crutch.
-
No, Gjallarhorn would ruin the fun. I hope they never bring that forward.
-
No let me explain... gjallarhorn
-
I atleast want the Dragon's Breath, would be OP with the Taikonaut.
-
My perspective is new year, new weapons
-
They'll all be brought forward. No worries here.
-
I just want Dragon's Breath now that I can give it tracking. Lol
