Which "Enemy" is Truly Evil?
I personally say that the Hive and the Taken are the two that actually seem evil. What is everyone's opinion?
Edit 1: not a single vote on fallen or taken lol
Edit 2: only 1% of the voters think the fallen are evil.

2 RepliesThe fallen and the cabal aren't evil. They aren't even actual "minions of darkness" They just aren't of the light(besides the old fallen and whatever race psions are) Take aren't really any different than hive because(or more "evil" than them) because they're controlled by a hive god, so really they can't be more evil than their controller... Vex while not 100% evil, know how they end and are trying to change the outcome anyway possible. Hive are as evil as it gets, darkness to the core. All you have to do is read the book of sorrows to fully understand the extent of how evil they are...

The Hive were seduced and betrayed by power at first; although they seem pretty evil at the moment, but they are just following orders from their ascendants to feed their worms. The Vex just want to survive, they have no goals to destroy other life unless it seems necessary. The Eliksni just scavenge to rebuild their order and what the traveler had gifted them originally. The Cabal just follow orders from a tyrannical government/military so they can return to their homes and be at peace. All of them seek to thrive and endure the hardships they face now. The only difference between them and us is the fact that we've already died. We have nothing to lose. Food for thought. Next time you take something's head off with a rifle, take a second and think about what they fight for. Why they put their lives on the line. Or... You know. Just blow them all up with ordinance. Whichever works for you. It's still fun after all.

5 RepliesEdited by DominicO24: 10/29/2015 6:31:57 PMI'd say Cabal because they seem to be the most sane, yet the most willfully violent. The Fallen are a fleeting race that seem to be dying out. Pretty much everything they do seems to come out of desperation more than evil. The Vex share a single mind so there isn't any autonomous evil in their soldiers. The only ones maybe as willfully evil as the cabal are the Hive, but even then they obey Oryx who is literally the Taker of Will. So the Cabal seem to really know what they're doing when they "blow up a planet just for getting in their way". They just don't care. Just my opinion

Taken are evil, because at lower levels, they are completely and utterly controlled with no mind of their own, but if you read what Ikora says about the higher level ones, they have a degree of consciousness. So all and all, the Taken are quite evil. The origin story of the Hive is one I quite like, and when considering that...they seem about just as evil as humans are. Vex have no emotional capacity for evil. Cabal...we don't have enough for them. They did enslave what became the Psions, though. Fallen are adorable. Nuff said.

None of the above. Only the worms the Hive ingest could be seen as evil, but even then this is subjective. The blade logic the Hive/worms use, and their desire to snuff out Light are just a polar opposite from what we as Guardians (and normal humans) understand.

12 RepliesHive were corrupted with the worms, so that doesn't mean they were originally evil. Vex were created by the traveler, and in light, and then they started worshipping the darkness, so that makes them indirectly evil. Cabal destroy anything that gets in their way, and have always been this way. That makes them quite evil. Fallen are scavengers, hollow shells of what they used to be. They are now very evil, but because they were put into this position. Taken don't have a will, so there fore they cannot be evil. They're master is tho
