Yeah, I don't want the Taken King content i.e. missions, strikes, raid, maps, etc. I just want the content I paid for which is the vanilla game and the 2 expansions. That includes multiple difficulty levels, bounties pertaining to the acquired dlc. Daily heroics, weekly heroics, nightfalls, crucible, etc. I wouldn't mind the if the daily, weekly and nightfalls were gone once every few weeks in rotation where I can only play the content I have purchased. But locking them to level 40 only?

I've had this game since day 1, bought all of the previous DLC for this game, but have opted not to purchased TTK. I, however, expected that I would still have the same functionality as before, especially given that I have sank $100 into the game already, but since we (those who did not purchase the DLC) are restricted to level 34, we can no longer do the weeklies (nightfall, daily story, etc.),. Additionally, we are given items for doing other tasks that we cannot use unless we pony up another $40 for the game, more or less holding us ransom to enjoy things we have long enjoyed. Now I understand that there must be perks for those who purchased the DLC, but taking away activities that have long been a part of the game alienates fans of the game. Unless this situation is fixed, I am afraid that Bungie will lose players (who have already spent a lot on this game) for what I deem is tremendously poor strategic planning.

I'm also a non-dlc player. I've been royally -blam!-ed over by this. I was expecting level 40 to be a given when TTK launched for all players.

I only have expansion 2 (House Of Wolves) and I also want to be level 40 but destiny have messed up the game we should do a bote
