TLW is very inconsistent now. you can no longer be sure how many bullets will actually register dmg.
i see myself emptying the entire clip for each person = i always get punished if theres more than 1 person.
also, first time ever running to a special ammo crate because i run out of primary ammo :/

This a BILLION times. This is exactly what I've been saying since 2.0 - it is very inconsistent.

That's because you are going about it wrong... You only want to fire as fast as you can when you are within shotgun range of a person... Slow down your rate of fire and you still get really quick TTK with perfect balance... while hip fire the return to center is really quick but cannot be done if you fire another shot before the gun can calm down.

trust that i've been using tlw a reasonable amount of time and am reasonably good at it to understand the nuances of tapping etc i've recorded and reviewed footage and clearly noticed that shots don't always register even when the reticle is on the person and at shotgun distances

I'm going to trust the meme 'pics or it didn't happen' Trust that I've been using TLW a reasonable amount of time and have used it quite a bit since the 2.0 patch and haven't missed any shots from hip fire that should have been hits if the target wasn't lagging like Nightcrawler blinks around the Xmen or out of a reasonable range. I constantly outgun Thorn and pulse rifles at range. This gun now takes a reasonable amount of skill to use and it feels very balanced considering you can still snipe with it if you know what you are doing. I'm going to leave it at that as obviously you're always right and have 'proof'

This. They have made TLW a dualing pistol. It's dangerous to go in gun's a blazin'..so to speak. You just don't have the ammo reserves.

That's the idea, remember? "get three coffins ready"
-
3 coffins ready has him 1 shotting them baddies. now that would be an insane gun to wield in destiny.

I don't mind it, it's still a very fun weapon.
