Why is everyone so hyped about fallout 4? A game that can do everything is also a game that focuses on nothing. It will have no narrative beside survive. Also for the record I didn't care for fallout 1, 2, and 3. I kind of liked new vegas.

They all had narrative a main quest line

Maybe, now this is just a wild guess, just maybe some of us have really enjoyed all the previous Fallout games and want more. You hate them, great, don't buy it. Some of us enjoy them, well, millions of us enjoy them.

Edited by Cheesy: 9/11/2015 8:36:33 AM"I hate Fallout, so why are people hyped for Fallout 4" Probably because the majority do not hate Fallout and therefore are excited for the next game in the series.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the intelligent an well thought-out answer.

There is a saying "ask a stupid question and get a stupid answer". You're asking why people are hyped for a series known for selling well that has games people still put hundreds of hours in several years later.... Some people say there is no such thing as a dumb question, I disagree.

I know, that's what made it a moronic question. If I thought you were being sarcastic I wouldn't have mocked you. The Fallout games sell incredibly well, that's a pretty well known fact. To ask why people are hyped for a popular game in a popular series is a dumb question and deserves mocking.

No. My answer to the guy. I was being sincere.

You're welcome.

Yeah I guess the total of 111,000 lines of dialogue means no story, right? Compare that to Destiny's, what, 18 lines of dialogue?
sarcasm obviously. But F4 has been confirmed to have 111,000 lines, and a massive story. Bethesda knows they did wrong. They're fixing it.
Its also over 400+ hours long.
-
Fine. I'll check it out.
-
There was a great amount of line in both FO3 and FONV. It's not really a change. Just a new gen console
-
Bethesda have stated that F4 has more lines of dialogue than F3 and Skyrim combined.
-
Again, it's on a newer console, not surprising.
