Y2 Confused
I put in 10 hours yesterday and played everything I could get access to, did the Titan quests, tested prototype weapons (but really, who wants to get their arses kicked in Crucible "testing" lower impact weapons)... yada yada yada...
I'll add that I hope there is more for year one players than an emblem and otherwise lame swag of no real use - all year one players with over 500 hours should be gifted something [b]extremely [/b]awesome in Year 2.
Anyway, my light did not budge one iota, I hunger for lvl 40... so I'm a bit confused, is this just a rubber match week? Like we get to see a few new weapons, the new menu system, the new vault, 6 pve bounties (oh and those stupid in pve cryptograms) - but nothing counts? The Queens bounties gone? No wolf patrols? No way to ascend your level? I'm a bit confused or stupid or both - can someone splain (or bash me into) to me wtf is going on?
Like should I even bother playing at all this week?

1 Replyshort answer to your final question - not really. do some class quests.. stack up 16 completed bounties to turn in AFTER TTK drops.. but aside from that and just clowning around w/ your friends.. yeah.. not much else to do. they pulled the wolves, crippled eris, and jacked w/ the raids.. so yeah.. it's mostly a "look at how much better we made PVP" week for them to show their asses and prove once again that they don't give 2 -blam!-s about PVE. ofcourse you could always run skolas or whatever.. but with the changes they made (crota normal now feels a bit more like hard mode) .. i doubt it would be much fun.
