So, upon following the above links to the Armory, it would appear that at least most of these Bonds (the ones that were purchased from the Speaker at lvl 20) have a TTK counterpart that is ranked lvl 40, that resolves both the Defense and Attribute issues I talked about. Which is great, but what you're telling me is that, after spending an entire game's worth of effort, time, and resources earning these very cool Bonds, I have to start all over again for another entire game's worth? Seriously not cool. Because I'm not wearing a bland Bond just because it's Defense is higher than my really really cool one (which was [i]not[/i] cheap).
40 is the new 20. >_<

Sadly there are still quite a few items that are left behind. My favorite, Cloak of the Sojourn, is one of them. Please Bungie bring them all up to date!

Apparently, there's an upgraded version of [armory]Bond of the Queen's Guard[/armory] that not only has 200 more defense than the original, but also unlockable perks. It even has a chance to drop in TTK. But could they give the upgrade to people who worked their butts off during their first event that have kept the equipment? No, apparently not. So much rage...

I did see that. Yeah, entirely unacceptable. I guess we're supposed to be complacent with the Year One Veteran VIP rewards.....which we [i]only[/i] get if we fork over more money for TTK.
