I agree with taking a stand, but at the same time, for ps4 players, this is by far the best shooter we have... I preordered before the 2.0 update was announced because i thought it was only gonna get better. After that, i went slam off in the forums for about a month while not playing to prove my disgust for this pure BS they have been constantly dropping on us since 2.0 was announced. [b]I CANT WAIT[/b], for another game to take destinys place at this point. They 100% lost my loyalty. [b]But the fact is, i really like blowing things up and especially doing so with my family and friends that don't live near me.[/b] Destiny is just by far the best at that. For ps4 players especially... At least xbox has games like gears of war to look forward to. I have definitely found other games i really enjoy like the witcher 3, but i don't always want to play by myself, and pvp games like COD just aren't that fun for me. I eventually lost the will to point out everything thats f'd up about destiny and just accepted that it will be a [b]casual game[/b] for me. Instead of [b]the only game[/b] like it was for me during the first 10 months of destinys release. Who gives a shit about collecting everything like we did in year one? The gig is up. Some of us don't have better options yet, but no matter what, the time spent for many of us will be [b]at least cut in half.[/b] Maybe that will tell bungie something, maybe it wont. Either way, I'm done giving a damn what happens to this game. It's not worth my time to complain to a brick wall that only [b][i]changes something[/i][/b], when they planned to change it anyways... In my opinion, [b]nothing we do on the forums makes a difference[/b]. If it did, [b]we[/b], [i]as in a shitload of guardians[/i], wouldn't have to feel like we wasted so much time in year one. We wouldn't feel like we are all climbing a mountain with a 3 ft leash, attached to the same damn safety cord as everyone else. If they cared, they would address us and have [b]actual conversations[/b] at least occasionally, about what so many are obviously furious about. Not the random 1 or 2 liners that have no reason behind them, just vague ideas or thoughts that they don't ever plan on replying to again. And this is why im not posting anymore. It ends up being a long waste of my time because I am still super pissed off at these greedy, time wasters and could go on for days about it...

I started reading and commenting on these forums because it was a great time killer on slow work days. But, lately, it has seemed to be a huge waste of time as it seems things aren't changing and shit is just getting rehashed into new shit and had a price tag slapped on it. I'm also rethinking how much time I should spend on here. What I want isn't considered and the level of stupid around here raises my blood pressure. It's seriously a toxic community.

Lol, that it is my friend.. It's because we all liked it so much to start with. They promised the moon and we got let down time and time again. They seem to be going for profit records only, not being the highest rated, and possibly best game ever, that it could have been.

Imagine if you could put out a product that was generally thought of as mediocre by critics but still sold in huge numbers and generated stupid amounts of money. No matter how you added to this product going forward the reviews were always mediocre but people still gobbled it up without hesitation...That's Destiny. There's no reason to go all out and do something radical and huge because the game is a cash cow. Why would they change?

Yeah it'll die out eventually. The next gen systems didn't have a lot of good games when destiny came out. There are a lot of good options coming out that will force them to put some effort into the game. I'd rather buy 5 or more games a year than continually but 4 hours of re skinned content from destiny every couple months.

You are probably right. Not buying and considering just forgetting about it period. But for everyone else accepting it, someday they will be offended by Bungie or another game company trying to pull something one step worse. They'll wonder what happened to gaming. Maybe they'll look back at this time as a missed opportunity to draw the line in the sand.

I agree. I think there is a dangerous precedent being set right now with DLCs and pricing. Bungie is being brave and testing some treacherous waters. It's the players who are making those waters seem like a kiddy pool. If players keep gobbling up these minimal content/high priced DLCs then it could be a signal to other developers that this is the new trend. I don't think a lot of people are realizing this possibility.

Boycott is our only weapon. This has become an emotional issue for all of us, desticles included, but to Bungievision, its business. We need to act accordingly, because if we do not, this sheisty business model will expand to all other games. BOYCOTT.

From what I've seen of your posts, I've got much respect for your opinion. I'm in the preordered boat and so I wanted to give you my perspective on the whole bungie vs players vs the product. Destiny and Bungie are inextricably linked. And yet it doesn't feel that way when I play the game. I can't stand DeeJ and find him to be smarmy and arrogant. But the game, no matter how flawed, is enjoyable to play. I don't like the hype that is always proven false or the utter lack of effective communication, but I enjoy logging in and playing Iron Banner or the other endgame stuff. So here I am. I know all of the negatives of Bungie and all the things I like about Destiny. What do I do? Do I buy the taken king and continue playing Destiny despite its flaws? Or do I say I'm done with Destiny? It's a conundrum. Because on the one hand, I hate that people like DeeJ and Luke Smith are profiting from my purchase. On the other hand, I've invested so much time and I want to keep playing until Destiny 1 is no more. And then I'll be done. Once they announce there are no more expansions and instead Destiny 2 comes out on like September 2016, I'm calling it quits on the buying before reviews. It might sound insane. And maybe it is, but I started this and I'm going to finish it.

Yeah. Not so much. I've never once posted that I don't play destiny. I've said in pretty much every single post that I've preordered TTK. So you just haven't been paying attention.

maybe, nevertheless paid attention to everything else you wrote...and therefor lost any respect...go, support bungievision and their flawed stupid vision, bow down to the taken walletking...hopefully there are still some guardians trying to fight with their only gun they have...their closed wallet, in hope for a change...and as a sign to show that they not agree to get milked like a cash cow by a greedya** company nor agreeing that it's ok to get ripped off of a full year of grinding...you a proof for why bungie can do whatever they want, treat their gamers like crap, when preaching stuff and then bow down with open wallet...sry, so wimpy...
