I'm disgusting? It's what I choose to do with my body son, doesn't affect anyone else. I'll smoke and vape like a chimney if it helps me stay focused. Only people I'm worried about impressing are the ones that write my paychecks, and I don't think they would call me disgusting.

I'm fine with it as long as you don't smoke in the car or a confined area. As long as there's good ventilation I'm good.

The argument being made is that smoking classifies a person as disgusting. The smell is bad and it does have negative effects on your body, but it's not worlds apart from the habit of drinking either. I have no issue with people who dislike the act of smoking, it's 100% understandable. I have an issue with people that automatically dislike a person because they smoke. I guess I just don't view everyone I know that has a habit I disagree with as a "disgusting" person.

I smoke outside, I don't smoke before going to a meeting or to hangout with friends that don't smoke. I'm doing it to myself though, and because I was very much against it for years due to my exposure as a child, I'm very conscious about how others are impacted by it. Seasoned smokers usually do have yellow teeth, but I don't think someone is disgusting at all because of that. They might piss me off as a non smoker if they wreaked 24/7. All that being said, take it how you will. Most people are probably pretty awful about it and flick their butts out or help themselves whenever they like, but some of 'us' are aware of the world around.

I get your argument and there are plenty of inconsiderate people that will light up in a crowd, but you're generalizing smokers by assuming I'm walking around blowing smoke into everyone's direction. I'll go hours at a time without if I'm with any kind of company that doesn't smoke. It's my poison of choice and I treat it as such. If someone tells me I'm still forcing second hand smoke upon others by exhaling into the air around me in my own privacy, well I'd strongly recommend that person avoid interstates at all costs.
