Worked in a popular north Florida shop for 2 years, can confirm. Love the hobby, spent a lot of money and had a lot of fun. I even met some of the best people I've ever been introduced to, but man a good portion of that community has become overrun with some of the cringiest egotistic asshats I've ever met. I know this sounds awful but after working there awhile and getting to know who the local mod snobs were, they all started looking the same to me. (Physique, attire, attitude...constantly breathing from the mouth) I had to leave all the social media groups because I couldn't bare another "CLOUD CALLOUT!" post, Jesus.
