I don't understand why Bungie are keeping that information secret. Just announce when the expansion will drop please Bungie.

THANK YOU! I am taking a day off on 9/15 and was hoping it wasn't like HoW with its release at 10:00 am. Now I can play more than half the day!
-
Yea, I was glad it was releasing on the reset
-
Thanks man. Just read the weekly update. Everything sounds awesome.
-
Uh. They actually announced this a couple weeks ago. Midnight eastern time, 9:00 pm pacific.
-
9:00 PM Pacific? On the 14th? Nice troll but it doesn't even deserve a rating.
-
That's exactly what it says beside the preorder and when I just checked.
-
They said in an interview that they just don't know yet. Technical stuff and whatnot. They also said that they would confirm an exact time closer to release date.
-
Thanks for the informative reply. I guess nobody knows at the moment.
-
I believe it was the last gameinformer interview where they discussed it. But yeah, literally no one knows when exactly it comes out at this moment. They have a target but will make an announcement once they know they can meet the deadline.

It says on my digital preorder that it's midnight est
-
So it might be midnight in your own timezone. Interesting.
-
It shows it in the title...are you serious? People like you make me ashamed to be apart of this community. Let's harry potter this up and hide you in the broom closet.
-
Can you read? The title states what time the King's Fall raid drops. I asked what time TTK drops. People like you make these forums the negative, cancerous pit full of arseholes that it is.
-
pretty ucheverything releases at 10 or 11 PST so im guessing the it will for TTK as well. They usually also release the exact time the day before.
-
Midnight PST
-
They told everyone like a month ago where were you? It's sept 15
-
Midnight PST. Is that for the whole world? Or is it just midnight in your own country?
-
PST. Do you know what a timezone is?
-
When games are released they are usually released at midnight in your specific timezone. When Destiny released, it was available for me at midnight GMT which is 8 hours ahead of PST. When it released for the west coast of Merica, I already had it available for 8 hours. TTK is causing confusion because it's an expansion but also sort of a sequel. If it's released at midnight for your local time, then great. I'll be lvl 40 before most Merican scrubs even get to play it. I just wanted clarification as HoW was a worldwide switch on, as it were, and wasn't available until the evening in the UK. In answer to your question, yes, I do know about timezones, because I live outside of Merica and know that other countries actually exist.
-
I can't deal with your idiotic logic and incomprehensible sentences. It releases at midnight pacific. 8 am your time. Everyone in both countries will be playing because people take work off.
-
And you have a source for this information? One guy in EST timezone said it would be live at midnight EST. I also seem to remember people were adamant that Vanilla Destiny would go live at midnight PST, but I was playing it 8 hours before them.
-
You're an idiot kid. You don't get early access. It's probably PST because that's Bungie's timezone. Look it up, you're on the Internet.
-
I'm an idiot because I had a legitimate question that everyone knows the answer to but has no proof. I simply asked if Bungie would announce what time TTK would drop. Everybody has there own opinion but nobody actually knows. Early access? If it drops at midnight where you live locally, then yes, I will have early access to it compared to anyone who lives West of the UK. Anyone who lives East of the UK will have it earlier than me. If it is a worldwide "switch on" as it were, then I wouldn't have early access. Nobody has given any proof to answer this question, that's why I thought it would be appropriate to ask the question on this particular thread as it was related to what time specific content was being released. Apparently a lot of people have a problem with others asking questions on the forums. Maybe I was foolish to expect some help on the matter without people flaming me without knowing the facts themselves.

Midnight Pacific Standard Time. And that is world wide.
