So Bungie is embarking on a ten year game but each year activities become 'obsolete' outside of 'fun'. HOW STUPID IS THAT! Give me a new gun/armor that is relevant each year and I'll play (grind) for them every year. If not, noobs that buy the game down the road will have a very hard time putting together a raid fire team of six people who still just want to have fun in the VOG. Are Bungie developers fine with creating these amazing raids just to let them fade into obscurity? Doesn't make sense! If this pattern keeps up Year 10 content will make the preceding 9 Years obsolete! Who the hell at Bungie set this in motion.
EDIT: how would you keep older activities relevant in future releases?

1 ReplyHow about if there was a new vendor who sold legendary gear in exchange for tokens gained from completing old raids?

Best thing to do is to add an alternative hard mode with legendary marks as a reward.

1 ReplyThe materials from the two raids are excellent ways of storing massive amounts of glimmer.

Edited by WulfPak666: 9/3/2015 4:49:43 AMAs they stand now, people still run VoG and Crota for a good 'ol time. Others only run VoG for the Gorgon Exotics, same for Crota's Deathsinger Exotic drop. As long as those factors are there, people will always rerun to them for more chances to get their sweet loots. PoE, no one cares about PoE. Since the light level is getting reworked, new players will still play VoG for their first raid experience and Crota shortly after because of the traditional level up system coming in TTK.
I'm sure they will fix Raid levels in future DLC when they can't think of a new Raid.

You can't have your Fate Bringer forever. Should've gone with Monte Carlo and just roll with it :3
