Introduce a story mission that involves loosing yourself to the taken or something. Your identity is wiped, and you are forced to fight the Vanguard and actual players they sent to take you back. You fight along the hive to kill the Guardians. Doesn't matter how well you do, the Vanguard will rescue you. Eris will be holding your whole being of existence from dispersing into the void and talking you through on how to return. At the time you will have a chance to reconstruct your whole existence and return home. This is a repeatable mission, provided at least one other guardian qued up for the other mission.
