I think you should look at it like this:
no other developers give us a real taster like bungie do, and they went in with the aim to show off the strike, and they showed it off and they also showed how the average player like you and me would do the strike.
just think on it

there vidocs in the Halo era were better, though. they explained and showed off mechanics or important additions like new enemies without actually giving to much away before the release. there was always the right level of detail and still no spoilers. With Destiny prior to release they barely showed off anything (thanks to Activision most likely) and when people became really frustrated after TDB they started to show off whole sections of the game in advance without focusing on anything that might make Destiny stand out from the competition (which is, because Destiny doesn't have anything that makes it stand-out, sadly). Plus the people they invited are clearly payed to say nice things about a mediocre game or not to ask stinging questions.

I doubt they were paid for that, just being polite as it's a great opportunity to do such events

Edited by dmdh1989: 8/28/2015 10:03:26 AMAt these events they gain access to early content. Content they can then publish at their own channels. Which results into subscribers and more viewers/ad revenue. If you are stingy and ask the proper questions you will not be invited again. And therefore no exclusive content less subscribers/ad revenue. Does anyone know whether gothalion got invited this time arround? he was asking good questions last time around.

It's not him next week so

Yeah, in minutes without a single death first time around. Not exactly challenging if you'd ask me. Also they aren't giving anything, they are marketing, hyping the crap out of this to sell copies and make money.
