My story begins on a game called DCUO, a MMO focusing around the universe of the DC comics. You can create your own character, hero or villain, Tough or Weak. Endgame content is actually challenging at times. An example is the Raid FOS2 (or Fortress of Solitude: Power Core) which at the time was the hardest raid, and is still considered hard to this day, where everyone can easily take down the bosses. Around when T4 came out and The Prime Battleground (another Raid) was the content everyone was doing, I had already done TPB and decided to run FOS2 for nostalgia reasons, so I queue up (which is the problem) because no one on LFG wants to do it. When I zone in there is a full team of 70+ CR (the average quality of your gear) which once again at the time was where the good players were. Personally, I was CR 75. I thought we would get this done pretty fast since we out leveled the content. Thankfully everyone had mics so we had no trouble communicating. The first boss is easy, just have a person tank the boss and the others dos the boss. We then get to the Prime Assassin, the second boss. Prime Assassin is very fast and dodging did not work, so you had to block in order to withstand damage (keep in mind, theres no resist gear in DCUO, unlike WoW). Everyone died leaving only me alive. Eventually I killed the Prime Assassin and we moved on. The next part is without a doubt, one of the hardest throughout the entire game. You have to transfer a crystal to a certain spot then defend that crystal for about 3 minutes. Transporting the crystal isn't a problem. However these idiots did not tank the enemies, resulting in the enemies continuously destroying the crystal. Eventually we did it, but I was about ready to quit. The next part is two hallways, which in order to progress, one person activates a lever on one side and another person activates the other one on the opposite side. The group couldn't figure out what to do, and when they did, they were calling me fag and c*nt because I didn't tell them earlier. I quit after that, and that was the last time I played DCUO mainly because I was bored.
