Check it out super interesting.
Edit: Great comments players. There is still some love for Bungie out there and some appreciation for what they are trying to do. I for one am excited and can't wait for TTK.

I always enjoy when someone, or someones, take a look at their failings, acknowledge them and pledge to do better. It's something that always restores a little of my faith. So here's to Batfleck and here's to The Taken King.
-
Fun to watch! Obviously you have to take it all with a pinch of salt (I am a natural cynic), but whether or not I believe they were wholly genuine, that video made me just a bit more excited for TTK.
-
As someone who isn't budging from being on the fence in regards to this game, I thought they came off as genuine.... I'm still firmly ensconced on that fence; but I will give ttk a realistic chance at Bungie earning future investments from myself...
-
bungie will do/say anything to get your money. this is a pattern of behavior and they have no incentive to change since people keep buying into it.
-
It's certanlt a interesting view. I feel at the end of the day they come off Genuine, but we will have to wait and see if this new approch follows through. For example, the whole Bring yearf 1 Exotic's ERaids to year 2. Whether you want it or not it's been a big community outcry and we will have to see how Bungie reacts to it.
-
I rated this Interview. Its good to see they have accepted the fact that they rushed the shit out of this game and made a lot of mistakes along the way and hopefully with TTK they have learnt from these mistakes.
-
Nice find
-
that poor Cabal, really made me feel bad lol
-
This was a good interview, watched it earlier. I wouldn't use the word "apology" though. It's more of a realization and look back at the last year, as well as confirmation they are always listening. They were "real" -- really good piece.

The video was more of a cry for players to come back.
-
Great video. I feel many publisher can learn a thing or two from Bungie. Destiny might not be perfect but they listen. I hope EA Sports comes across this video. Ha who am I kidding.
-
Bump the hell out of this. Everyone needs to watch this. Put your old salt shakers aside and watch this video. And take a moment to realize what it takes to make a video game of this caliber, and if you don't like it then go back to cod or whatever you played before this.
-
Where they said "no, tell me what the fuck is happening"... Nailed that part.
-
I think it speaks to the fact that Bungie has created a genuine hybrid of game-types. Destiny is undeniably unique in the video game space - and Bungie is learning to create something new (and learning to do many new things as a studio). Their passion for Destiny is clear and I think it speaks well for the future - they get it, and they are learning.
-
Very good video. They are basically correct. I think they are trying something very very new with Destiny. And honestly its why I am on here running my virtual mouth about things I perceive as broken, bad, or good whatever the case may be. Because I want to see this game blossom into something truly groundbreaking. I've been here since Beta and its a unique opportunity to grow over a known length of time with a game as well as with a studio. The shareholder analogy was spot on. They put in the time, work, and effort so will I. Win-win
-
Good post. Great to see the video, hearing from the staff itself; multiple people on the team there at that not just one person essentially speaking for the whole studio. Yea Year 1 had A LOT of mistakes, but there was also a lot of fun in it. No game is perfect. There is just no way it can be. You're gonna have fun with it at times and others you're gonna wanna break it. But for me it's as long as the developers still care about the game and they continuously show that, and listen our feedback and make those changes, then I'm happy. I believe TTK will be finally what we as the Destiny community have been waiting for and it will be the right platform, per se, for the game to continue growing and evolving on.
-
I think in there own way it was an apology
-
Anyone who hasn't cancelled their pre-order by now is blinding themselves to the truth.

Saving to watch later

Edited by KaosSoulja: 8/27/2015 2:45:03 AMThey have to make an apology....they do have an expansion to sell after all They knew the previous content was lacking and a cash grab these guys have changed from the bungie of old
-
It is an apology, though it's also marketing. How good or bad TTK is will determine how genuine this is. Not that it matters to anybody else, but the only two things that would get me to buy anything Bungie again is an apology for the state of the game at launch, and a vast improvement.... So, there is one of the two.
-
Just before the inevitable let down ttk will be
-
This is what a reveal video should be not some streamer who thinks they're famous rambling with other folks on a stream that's likely to break.
-
Apologizing? Uh an proper apology would start with I'm sorry.
