Check it out super interesting.
Edit: Great comments players. There is still some love for Bungie out there and some appreciation for what they are trying to do. I for one am excited and can't wait for TTK.
Edit: YT Link for everyone just posted 3 hours ago. https://youtu.be/vN01zxcXVhQ

This vid has been around awhile. I think game informer is just putting a spot light on it

A little humility goes a long way

Love Bungie!! 😘

Sounds like they are slowly realizing hardcore player base means more than casual. Will be interesting to see Joe many on my friends list are still playing past jan 1. Had a small spike for Poe then drop off, lucky to see 5-6 a night anymore, usually just 2-3. Sad case

I'm encouraged by the video...

Edited by Terendol: 8/27/2015 4:28:16 PM"sniffle...We do listen, we try so hard....we want to respect you...." Ok, right. So they introduce Etheric Light. Everyone is happy for the most part. BUT THEY IGNORE THAT, and rip off WoW's item level system, close off Year One gear, and make sideways improvements to the game that will just again become problems 4 weeks down the road. The collection system should be a place to archive your weapons to save vault space. They should come back releveled. I DO NOT WANT TO WASTE ANY MORE TIME LEVELING WEAPONS. We told you that last year, you fixed it, then reverted it. Oh yeah, you really listen. Except they go and repeat having to re-level you exotics from the "collection", or buying the Year Two version and having to re-level that, too. People want to keep their Year One weapons. Instead of making them slightly inferior, so as not to go back and invalidate everything ALL OVER AGAIN, you make them completely worthless. Jesus it wouldn't have taken much to just make them maybe 25-30 (or some other number) lower in attack value, that way people could still choose to use them in PVE, making both parties divisive about the weapon changes happy. They honestly DO NOT have a clue. This game is outside their wheelhouse. Damn right this game is in trouble.

can someone link the video? I'm confused...

Edited by TheWiscoBadger: 8/27/2015 7:47:09 AMThe impression I got was the exact opposite. Brutally honest, but not apologetic. They told everyone what influenced their decisions and why they took the routes they did. It is true, there has never been a game like Destiny before. There was no script to go from. I would say a hell of a first year with much to improve on. Can't wait to see what the future brings.
-
actually the basically called a lot of people obsessed haters who don't stop playing the game. I agree with that.
-
That was just insulting "people couldn't figure out what to do at 20" they knew exactly what to do, your game isn't -blam!-ing complicated
-
Good video
-
At the end when DeeJ says "Keep fighting" all i heard was keep grinding!
-
7:42 - Crotas End bridge... A different activity. Is that a part of the new raid??? 7:51 - IS THAT THE TEMPLARS WELL??????

I really enjoyed this video. It really gives me an idea of what they're doing as development team. I like knowing that they're always paying attention, that they see the wrongs they've written, but they also know that some of the things the populace view as a wrong are things that are positive change in the long haul. I like that they acknowledge the fact that they're a bit slow with responding to issues because they need to take the time to really consider the issue, see what's wrong and make the changes or choose not too. I think this was a really positive look into the behind the scenes because it really lets me know that they truly see and hear everything. They aren't picking and choosing what to filter out of their minds. Personally, I'm looking forward to the future of this game. I've always been looking forward to it. I didn't need this video to help me lean one way or the other, but it's definitely been refreshing and eye-opening to see it. Through all the frustrations and irritating elements, I've loved this game, and I'd like to be here until the end that I hope is very far off in the future.

Watched the whole thing. The most interesting part is near the end where they're begging people to come back to the game. They wouldn't be doing that if they had anything close to healthy population numbers. They all but admitted that their game is in very serious trouble.

Edited by KillaSamurai88: 8/27/2015 4:08:59 PMFunny thing is they are litteraly NOT giving the new commerce a chance to even used the year 1 wepaons.. Idk how that makes any sense to them.. So the new commerce grinds for vog and crota to try the shiny new wepaons they've never seen before just to be useless and not relevant to the current expansion. It's outrageous. The OP wepaons got nerf and some got left behind. Bungie wheres the logic?? And what type of system are you running cause to a lot of us it doesn't makes any sense. bungie might as well charge 40 and give the expansion 1 and 2 to the new commerce for free. Lol........this is a joke, I don't want to play anymore, but I only still play bc i enjoy playing with friends. Or perhaps they are doing this bc of vault space problem. Hence blue print was created.
-
so much press for an expansion? they must really need the preorders now
-
I honestly felt that this video was more patronizing than anything. I am not encouraged in the slightest by it.

Good video, glad they acknowledge the feelings of the fans. We love it, but know it could be much better. I hope they keep working towards that goal.
-
Honestly, after feeling the "no love" grind in this game since day 1, I hope this game and all of it's fanbase effing implodes into oblivion. Mmmm.....Oblivion (better memories) (Back to warframe)
