Edit: Great comments players. There is still some love for Bungie out there and some appreciation for what they are trying to do. I for one am excited and can't wait for TTK.

2 RepliesThey basically knew we were beta testers. This is their way if saying 'we hear you'.....but its not that people want to be heard more than they want stuff fixed.... At the end of the day it's a passive way of damage control for more terrible decisions they have made.

3 RepliesThe only other game that I have more time in than destiny is World of Warcraft. Played that game for like 8 years I couldn't even fathom a guess as to how many hours/days I have on that game. I know by the time the 3rd expansion came out my main character had 350 days played...yes days. So I stopped playing at the end of last one so yeah. If I were to guess, I would guess I probably have a total of 3 years of in game time played if not more across all the ones I had. So that's about 1000 days worth of play time. Destiny has a long way to go for me lol and with it's current direction I'm pretty hyped.

My favourite part was where they were clearly doing something in crotas end, then it showed footage of a guardian exploring what looked like VoG That's maybe been brought up before but I just watched the video.

Actually that is the most honest words I've seen come out of any of those guys mouths. Generally you see interviews were they just pay lip service to how great the game is and how much they listen to the community. The interview here though was the most sincere I've have seen yet. Hopefully Bungie has turned a corner in this respect.

I'm glad they talked about players losing interest after level 20, I got the game day 1, made it to level 24 then barely played other than to grab jackolites. I only started really playing in January when they gave a free weapon for X-mas noobs(which was a god roll LDR, my first legendary) I've got gud since then, (MoT done before bungie day, all exoitcs, flawless trails, etc). Sort of sad I didn't do VoG and queen's wrath when they came out, hopefully the new leveling system stops noobs from leaving like I almost did.

2 RepliesI should hope they apologize for the two billion hours of play time people have had (Q2 results from Activision, ITD playtime as at June 30). Terrible. Of course they learned a lot. It's a new game for them. It's clear from this video these guys are extremely passionate about Destiny and its players. EVEN THE HATERS!!! Good for them, but I don't think they will succeed in pleasing the haters. Haters gunna hate. I'm getting bored of the game myself but we'll see what TTK brings. I have spent so much time on this game having fun with buddies it is by far the cheapest form of entertainment I've ever had. I had a great time, hopefully TTK brings it. It looks good to me so far.

Thanks for the vid. It was an honest, open discussion as to what the people behind destiny think. I'm glad they are so passionate about the game, cause i believe that means it will only get better. I mean, despite all the flaws of the game, bungie got the main things right that you need/have to get right: the game looks/sounds/plays great, and overall is just fun as hell to play. If you get those things right, the rest can be worked on/improved (glitches, content, streamlining, balancing, etc.), and that's what they are doing. So the future looks bright. At first I was skeptical of the 10 year game called Destiny that bungie was talking about, but now i'm along for the ride until they -blam!- it up.

My initial thought while watching was that they are trying their best and have an enigma of a dream for destiny that they are trying to reach. However, by the end I had a different feeling. All the changes and additions (and subtractions) seem to be for one reason... Getting new or previous players to play. The weapon and armor wipe is for those players to not feel left out. It's "for the good of the game". Keyword GAME. Not for year one players. I am split with this. I understand business and the need for new customers but loyal customers are the back bone. Most know the saying that it's more expensive for a company to get new customers right? Well case and point. Bungie did all this for new customers. As a player from last September I know we need players. I get all that. But maybe destiny is not as successful as we thought? I don't know. Either way I'm going to play TTK. If it falls short I'm done. But if not than I'll keep on fighting. (Per Deej)
