I also gave thought this on dont pass gass's thread. The story about the seven layers of heaven, each layer/world has a nation, only one nation, and destiny is set in the last city on earth. Meaning the only nation on the planet, this therefore connects with the the myth and could be one of the 7 planets (layers) with only one nation. So we could also see the other 6 planets (layers) in the game that only has one city remaining (one nation).
This definitely ties in with the seven layers of heaven myth as each layer has[b] A[/b] nation and our planet in destiny only has one city left.

Perhaps there are 5 factions we can play (the one we know of - FWC, Dead Orbit, Seven Seraphs, Osiris, New Monarchy) and two that might be un-playable and the enemies in the game. The problem then becomes which planets (layers) belong to which factions. I would also assume that the one of seven members are key figures in each of the factions. I remember reading rumors that they probably had got to have their faces digitized for the game.
