I agree in principle and hope for this moving forward, but the year 1 weapons were too good and need to be left behind.

If you have a single weapon that is too strong then adjust it. Don't just leave everything behind. Lazy approach.

Lazy approach could also be yours. "Meh, I got a HC. Don't need any others so I wont bother getting/grinding for others."

Nope... I currently have at least 10 hand canons in my inventory that I use, each with different rolls. I continuously try different weapons and look forward to the new TTK gear.
