Now you see how they used etheric light to sell you a garbage DLC and then took it away. Why? Most likely to sell it back to you at a later date. My advice, enjoy destiny for what you got out if it, play the DLC if you bought it but don't buy anything else from bungie until someone with more ethics takes over, if that ever happens.
