Why the hell should they make it better in trials, the whole poi of trials is that Damage matters, and the strangers rifle is not meant to be and end game high damage gun

If you get a gun such as fatebringer or even ice breaker, you have an option to upgrade it with etheric light or an exotic shard. They made this gun rare with options to upgrade it like other guns such a raid weapons, however you can not upgrade the damage. I am not asking for too much more damage, just enough that I have a better chance at killing people in trials with it than having to use thorn, last word, or the messenger.

Yea but the whole point of trials is that it's only for the very endgame guns that all have 365 damage, it's not a place where you use your favourite guns it's a place for using the best guns

They let us upgrade legendaries, if they let you upgrade that rare gun they would have to let us upgrade every rare gun

Why would they have to let us upgrade every rare gun? The stranger's rifle was a weapon given to us for completing the game not just a random drop in Pvp or from an engram. It is different from every other rare gun.

Sorry I meant for my post to go to you and not the rude and negative person I sent it to. Did you notice the legendary stranger's rifle in the vault space reveal on the twitch stream. I am like you and love the stranger's rifle. I have desperately been wanting a way to upgrade it to a legendary. Well it looks as though it is finally coming. If you pause the video on the first page of the vault, on the top row, the 6th one over next to murmur you can see a legendary strangers rifle. I know there will be an exotic version of the strangers rifle called the no time to explain. And with the whole new quest oriented story line, there is speculation that there is a pathway to convert the strangers rifle to a legendary version, and then the legendary version to the exotic.

Lots of other blue guns were given as rewards, and the thing is that everyone on forums would complain that they have a favourite blue gun they want to upgrade...

If you re-watch the twitch stream, when they show more fault space, when he first opens the vault there is a legendary stranger's rifle in there right above the sword. Check it out again. There will probably stages to upgrading the stranger's rifle. I love this gun too, and can wait for a stronger version!!!

Because look at all the guns we currently have, they are pretty much all the same auto rifle model, shotgun model etc

Oh my god you idiot, I'm saying that there are taken king weapons that use that model, and I'm also aware of that exotic gun it just had the same model it dosent mean it's based of the strangers rifle, ghallhorn is a modified jester, for example

We did have to built husk of the pit into eidolon ally, and then to nechrochasm. Probably what's gonna happen with the strangers rifle. Just saying!
