The flying "dragons" on venus are NOT Ahamkara's. They're called baladactyls: flying dragons native to venus. Ahamkara's are as large as mountains. After they were hunted to (near) extinction they started to hide. A good example of how large one is is by starting the mission the wakening i believe. At the end where you fight the crotas crystal you can see the bones of an Ahamkara. I dont believe that that is an adult though.
Also did you know that you pronounce Ahamkara as aa-hem-car and not aa-ham-car-a. Ahamkara is a hindu word.
btw i copied this from my comment to the post ''weird destiny facts'' orso
Also super good advice's exotic perk also works well on detainment shields (VOG and Qodron)

Then how do Hunters and Warlocks wear the spines and skulls? If they were really that big a single vertebrae would be too large...
-
"Space magic". No but its just something alot of games have. Bad example: runescape bandos/general graardor. That guy is like 40 ft yet your still able to wear his gear.
-
If you notice the hunter's gauntlets are called Young Ahamkara's spine. So they possibly poached the younglings.
-
Young, not newborn or fetus. Maybe the adult is 2-3 times larger but thinking they go from spine-fits-on-your-arm to dinosaur seems like a stretch. Also, the skull is supposedly from an adult.
