There are exotics that help it out, if there were no exotics that helped boost it i would have agreed with you

But u do have to remember it adds overpenetration, the golden gun is meant to take down enemies with percision not power, meaning u take down multiple tough enemies with one shot or take down small enemies one by one

4 shots is good for taking out groups but even with Nighthawk the 6x damage is very much lacking
