Well the Game Informer magazine reaches many more people than the Bungie website does. Hell, not everyone who plays Destiny has this app. But most of them probably have he game informer magazine delivered straight to their houses. So it makes more sense to release news in Game Informer where it'll reach many more people, plus it's going to bleed over to the forums in links and excited people

Even if you don't have the GI magazine as a subscription or do not want to buy a physical copy GI has created a portal for TTK on thee web which gives us some news every day - way more than the weekly update could: http://www.gameinformer.com/p/thetakenking.aspx What I think is really weird: most of those complaining about the weekly and no information are exact the same ones who come here shouting that they're done with Bungie/Destiny and do not preorder/buy TTK. Somehow contradicting and makes me think they are just a bunch of hypocrites.

Yep. Or say that Bungie doesn't listen to feedback, but then claim that TTK is changing so much about the game that year one might as well have been a beta. The reason it's changing so much is because as a community, they all bitched about it for that entire year. Now they're getting what they want and they're still bitching about it. I'd say it's unbelievable but I've been around the community for a few months now so I can't say I'm surprised
