Is it worth it...

I have been thinking about this for the past few days and I think I'll do it. I am going to trade in my DS and games for credit towards a PSP. Now I would like to know, for those of you who have both or have had both, if this is the right decision. If I don't get one now then I'm going to wait until the price drops because I have to save my b-day and x-mas money for Xbox 2.

 • PSP > DS, period. I have both... If you have the money, get the PSP.

 •
Posted by: flamechu
Posted by: Ename Nep Not. that's NOT a good idea. If you already have a DS and games, don't bother selling them for a PSP and nothing. Instead, just wait until after Xbox 2 for the next price drop; by then there will be a MUCH better game selection, anyway.
Well smart one. If I were to wait to get it after I get Xbox 2, that's not smart. Seeing that I'll need all the money I have for games 'n' . Plus I'll most likely be totally hooked. I don't know if it's the right thing to do if I ask for it early thou. I mean, my school year will be over in like 5 weeks. The PSP is so cool I don't know if I could wait. I will only be able to get one game. Taking into consideration that I might get it 5 weeks from now, what game should I get?
Good point; don't get a PSP at all and use the money for more Xbox 2 games.

 • Is the dead pixel problem a real big thing? I know that alot of people are complaining about it. Or are they just being -blam!-? How big are the spots that are dead?

 • The PSP is an impressive little piece. The UMD on most games is slow as hell - during rush hour - but games like Lumines almost make the purchase go over smoother with your bank account. It's a decision that you'll have to make on your own and not with opinion of people on this site; it is after all 250 Washingtons retail... Your call flamechu. I will say though that it destroys, as a whole package, the DS - easily

 • Its worth it. Belive me. I traded in both my PS2 and most of my Xbox games for it. I traded every game but four (including Halo 2, which i will always keep). I don't even use the PSP for games much anymore! The games kick ass, but i've been using it to watch moveis and play gmaes.

 •
Posted by: MasterOfPie USB 2.0 is just a regular USB port.
usb 2.0 is an usb 2.0 port, there is a difference between 2.0 and 1.1 and that only being the data transfer rates, same size plug though so if you have an usb port it'll work just may not as fast as it possibly could be if you had 2.0
