Can we still get pre-dlc armour?
So just wondering if pre-dlc armour can drop.. Please elaborate

Yes you can. Do tiger strikes until you have all your armor slots filled with engrams ( note that only the engrams from the reward screen works, any engrams from enemy kills should be deleted instantly ) then go to the cryptarch and decrypt. There is the small chance that they will turn into legendaries and if they do, they will be vanilla gear. Keep doing until you have a full set of your desired gear.
