New Map Screenshots
Even though all of these shots originated right here, from this very computer, they somehow ended up on our own website last. Still, if you haven't seen them or you want to see them in a larger format or with a less obtrusive watermark, we've got you covered. The Halo 2 screenshot [url=http://www.bungie.net/Games/Halo2/Gallery.aspx?Gallery=Screenshots&page=6] gallery[/url] has a whole new page full of images from Warlock, Containment, Turf and Sanctuary. There are additional first person shots floating around on various game sites if you're hungry for more new map goodness.

ya I hate when they use the secoundary standby but I guess the bungie staff coudn't purge it all (I hate cheaters and glitchers)

I was playing online last night and I encountered a standby they are able to use it. my freind and I were testing it in a custom game they still work

ok, first of all, FREEKIN AWSOME MAPS I CANT WAIT, IM LIKE "THIS IS SO COOL I HAVE TO TAKE A MEGA-DUMP!!!" Im going to buy the new maps right away (since they're only 5.99 for both of the ones u have to pay for [that is if i read it right]) and (like Darkness Howls) im going to scale Turf like ive scaled outskirts in the campaign mode. the coolest looking one is prolly Warlock but Turf is right up there with it. Containment looks soo awsome (big team battle fan...sry) but the least cool lookin one i would have to say is Sanctuary. but all of them look FREEKIN AWSOME Bungie did a FANTASTIC job om those screen shots in the pic gallery i LOVE those graphics. im so excited about the maps that once they come out im going to buy them and FREEKIN ANALYZE THEM so that i know exactly where i am as soon as i spawn (like i do on all the other Halo 2 maps). man those screenshots just pump up how much u want those maps its soo crazy its cool.

if u dont have xbox live can u still get these maps ??????? i have live but im just curious oh yea nice maps that map is kinda like sidewinder in halo1 bungie the funnest map ever would be that 1 teleporter map for halo 2 that would be nice

oo and I don't know what every ones complaining about... The autoupdate is awsome, it not only makes the gameplay more balanced but it makes for a less stressful experience than b4. Reseting stats is good to cause everyones stats mean nothing w/ all the cheats and all. Its nice to have a fresh start with all new maps, playlists, cheating/glitch fixes, and enhanced weapon balances/gameplay w/ out having to pay for a new account. The only thing I would have done differently bungie is keep the magnum the same or at least 12 shots to the head kills instead of 13 so no reload, and upgraded the needler making it like the needler from the mlg on zanzibar video a couple years ago. One more thing is that i liked it in halo 1 where you had the choice of turning indicators off in custom games that way its more realistic... the pictures you have w/ all the players battling on the new maps dont have indicators on the players. I would like to repeat in my own games exactly what I saw in the pictures thus making the option of no freindly indicators [Edited on 4/20/2005]

i do honestly love what you are doing bungie... halo has evolved into a much better games since the lonely days of halo 1 since live and all. The new maps look much more crisp and complex than the first batch, except for zanzibar the greatest map ever known to man. No matter how much you try, or how long you work on a map, or how well thought out it is im sorry to say bungie but you will never compete w/ zanzibar. I would buy halo2 for zanzibar alone, i love you bungie and im crying as i say this, i love you guys for making zanzibar.

i personally think the urban map looks a little lop sided with both sniper rifles in the same area, because we all know ....................................................................... ... HE WHO HOLDS BOTH RIFLES IS GOD! so i hope there is a pretty quick respawn on the battle rifles on the other side of the map, or maybe the overhead pic is misleading?i guess we'll soon find out. on another note, my account is level 19 ( legit ) and im glad you are restarting the stats because now we will seperate out all the stanby.....people, to put it nicely and i'll get my levels like i should. BRING BACK THE LEVEL 1 ! gamertag is skinstripper or iisarsii hit me up ,i dont bite [Edited on 4/20/2005]
