Destiny crucible is [b]p2p[/b].
In other words, a [b]player in your lobby[/b] is essentially acting as the "server", or host, for each match.
The only parts of the game that are [i]hosted[/i] on Bungie servers are the public areas in [b]PvE[/b], orbit, and the towers.

Edited by Meliwinks: 8/7/2015 11:58:04 AMThe culprit behind all the lag on otherwise great connections, is actually Bungie's patchy netcode, basically because Destiny has undergone nonstop redesigns from day 1 of development, seeing an entire story line and countless builds sent to the trash, the programmers had to release an obviously inferior netcode, capable of just barely scraping past the console quality standards, and then for reasons unbeknownst to me, those programmers were put to work post-release on things like [i]wearing your helmet in the tower[/i], or [i]blanket nerfing weapons that no one complains about[/i], or, my personal favorite, [i]adding matchmaking to the weekly, so you can carry two afk douche bags to 9 strange coins[/i]
