Yes the original post with regards to the new xp based system said that "the flow from 34 was seamless" which imo means if you finished HoW as a 34 you start TTK as a 34 and rank up from there, if you are a 30-32 you start there which gives people an incentive to do PoE etc for etheric light because no doubt the grind per level now from an xp standpoint will be monstrous.

After September absolutely but until then I would encourage anyone to try and reach level 34 because if your trying to go from 30-32 on pure do after September without etheric light it'll be hard as hell

The speculations on this are far and wide some people think that every guardians X had been tracked by bungie over the course of the last year and when we reach September you will be at 40 already if you have enough coins but I can't see that being the case at all because that's a helping hand to high level players already like you were the highest in year one so now your automatically the highest at year two without really any work, I think either way the grind will be real
