[i][u] New Friends, Better Journey[/u][/i] [b]After returning to the Tower after meeting Dennis at Cosmodrome, Rush walks down to the Hunter Bar to check on the Warlock. Rush ran down the stairs and goes to see the Warlock lying down.[/b] Rush travels down to the Hunter Bar after Amanda stows his ship. He sits down next to Emilia, and pulls out her Dead Ghost. Emilia wakes up and tries to sit-up, but the pain holds her back. "Emilia you should try not to get up, but here's Theo. He's dead, but I can try to fix him to at least make him communicate." Rush puts Theo down on a nearby table, and looks at Emilia. "What happened? All I remember is my ship crashing to Ear-" Rush interrupted Emilia. "Okay, I'll explain. Eh, Emilia. Okay, me and my Ghost were in orbit, headed straight for the Grotto's and your ship appeared on my radar and you were closing in on Earth fast. I changed my location to the Steppes. When I landed, your ship crashed and I ran to your crashed location. You popped a weak spot on your ship and crawled out, and your ghost fell out. I can't explain everything. But you get it, right?" Emilia looks at Rush, laughing. "Best story telling I have ever heard. You should really tell me more." Emilia said sarcastically and laughed for a bit. "But in all seriousness, thanks. Wait. How do you know my name?" Rush looks around, slightly sweating. Hunt materializes out of thin air. "I scanned Theo to get details about you." Hunt says to Emilia and he disappears. "Yeah that." Rush says nervously then laughs. Rush stands up and put his hand on Emilia's shoulder. "Name is Rush. Rush "Deadeye" Falzone." Emilia looks up at Rush. "Nice to you meet you, Mr. Deadeye. My name is Emilia "Vortex" Lauro. But you already know that." Emilia giggles. Rush pats Emilia's shoulder. "Get well soon, Emilia.." Rush takes his hand off her shoulder, and leaves. While walking up the stairs Rush bumps into a Guardian. "Hey watch it man," Rush says. He looks up to reveal Dennis. "Oh my bad, sorry Dennis." "Nah man, no worries. I'm here to see that Warlock you were talking about in the Grotto's." Dennis laughs and Rush leads him down to the Hunter bar. "Here she is," Rush points to Emilia, and sits down on the table next to Dead Theo. Dennis looks at Emilia, and looks at Rush and whispers, "She's kinda hot..." Emilia looks at Dennis with a stern look. "I heard that..." Emilia scoffs and turns to the side of the couch, secretly blushing. "I thought that too, Dennis. But introduce yourself to her, you Exo bastard." Dennis and Rush laugh. "Emilia meet Dennis. Dennis meet Emilia. Get to know each other." Rush picks up Theo, and fiddles around with him with nearby tools. Emilia and Dennis talked while Rush fixes some what a part of Theo. Theo starts to float and falls back down into Rush's hands. "What are you doing with my Ghost?" Emilia asked. Rush looks at her, and puts down the tools. "Attempting to fix him. Obviously." Rush looks back down at Theo and picks up his tools. Rush inserted a precision screwdriver into Theo and he sparked. Powering up, and floating. Rush smilies. "What... Happened?" Theo looks around, and he spots his Owner. Emilia looks at Theo, and in excitement she picks him out of the air and holds him close. "Theo! Theo, Theo, Theo, Theo!!" Emilia cries tears of joy, and lets go of her Ghost. "I'm glad, you're alive!" Theo checks his own system, scanning himself for anything severe. "Emilia, I may be alive, but I can't bring you back to life. So try not to die." Emilia stops crying tears of joy, and her joy stops. "Oh... But I missed you. Thank you, Rush for being my Theo back." Rush scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, no problem." Rush looks at Dennis. Dennis gets off the couch side, ready to leave. "Nice job, Rush. But still a bummer that the ghost still isn't repaired. But hey, everyone's got their Ghost now. I'm gonna go now, have some things to do." Dennis laughs, and leaves. "Thanks for introducing me to Ms. Vortex over here, Deadeye. See you around man." Rush and Dennis wave goodbye and Rush looks at Emilia smiling. "It's the least I could do, Emilia." Emilia smilies and gestures Rush to come closer and she pats him on the head. "Thank you." Emilia kisses Rush on the cheek. The P.A announces Rush to the Vanguard Room. "Well, looks like I have to go, get well Emilia." Rush stands up and leaves to go to the Vanguard Room. "He seems cute." Emilia says to herself. Theo looks at her, and just floats around Emilia. Theo spins around and Emilia laughs. "New Friends, new Journey, right Theo?" Theo agrees and Emilia stares at the roof again. -----------[At The Vanguard Room]------------ "Rush, the Vanguards have been monitoring your activity recently and have been impressed," Zavala says. "Your legend grows day by day if you keep this up. We're very proud for you to be here Guardian." Ikora and Cayde pat Rush on the back. "Thank you for your service, Guardian." Ikora and Cayde said in unison. "Continue your legend, day by day." The Three Vanguards stood side by side. "Dismissed, Guardian. May your light shine bright." All Three said in unison. Rush leaves the Vanguard room to see Shaxx, standing in front of him. Shaxx rewards Rush with a Vanguard Medal, Crucible Medal, New Armor from the Crucible, and a new cloak. "Guardian, I look forward to to seeing you in Crucible. Thank you for your service." Rush takes his gifts, and puts on the new cloak. "Thanks Shaxx," Rush shakes Shaxx's hand and leaves. [i]Never thought I would be mentioned around the Tower. It feels nice.[/i] Rush walks to the Vaults, and changes with the new armor. Light, but dependable, provides enough protection. Rush stores his old armor in the Vault, and Dennis walks by and notices Rush. "Hey nice change! Where'd you get it from?" Dennis asked. "Lord Shaxx. Vanguard has been watching me for a bit and gave me some few gifts." Dennis was impressed by his actions. "Well, I gotta give you credit. Saving another Guardian from actual death. Props bro." Dennis claps and Rush thanks him. "So where you off to?" Rush asked Dennis. "Codex can answer that, but I'm already here. So we're going to the Moon to see what happened to Eris's Fireteam. We only have two, Eris and Toland. We're going to search for the death points of Sai, Omar, Eriana, and Vell. Like we're going deep into the Temple Of Crota, and exploring. We start 3 days from now." Rush nods his head. "Interesting. Who's the others in the Fireteam? Ours, not theirs." Dennis holds up 2 fingers. "We can always bring Emilia for our fif-" Rush put his hand over Dennis's mouth. "I'm in, but Emilia will not be included in this. No Ghost revival... Actually if her injures heal up, we can take her. I'm pretty sure she can hold her own. You have to ask her though." Dennis nods and goes down to the Hunter bar. He walks down the steps and walks over to Emilia who's sleeping. "Emy," Dennis says. She doesn't wake up. "Emy, Emy, Emy, EMY, EMY. Wake up!" Dennis keeps on repeating "Emy" until she wakes up. Emilia opens her eyes and groans. "Wha? What is it Dennis?" She says tiredly. "Me, you, Rush, and 2 others. Moon exploration. Temple Of Crota, 3 days. You in?" Emilia looks at Dennis. "Yeah sure... Count me in, I'm always up for Exploration. By 3 days, I'll be up and ready to go." Dennis whoops in the background and dances. "Remember Emy, Rush will be there to help you if you're in trouble.. You know what I mean. Wink wink, nudge nudge, ding." Dennis laughs at Emilia. "Oh be quiet. Just let him know I'll be there." Emilia gestures Dennis to leave and he obeys. Dennis meets up with Rush at the Vaults. "She's in!" Dennis says in excitement. Rush looks at Dennis with a smile. "Alright then...
