Why does no one use Bad Juju but Red Death instead?
Seriously, nobody seems to know how good Bad Juju is in PvP. It is a monster and nobody else see's the potential this gun has. You can literally get 4 to 5 man feeds with Bad Juju while Red Death gives you a chance to get health back and then you have to reload. You will win a gun fight against any other primary 9 out of 10 times. Why does nobody use it??? Give me your opinion.

21 RepliesJuju's TTK is almost .3 seconds slower than that of RD, which is the same difference seen by Thorn and Red Death. Sure, one could argue that Juju nets more kills indirectly thanks to the Super energy, inherent Crowd Control perk, and insane DPS thanks to the instant reloads. However Red Death facing Juju with equally skilled users without any variables added in outside of that puts RD as the winner the most often. And it can actually compete with Thorn to some degree unlike Juju which a good Thorn man can turn and pump you with two shots before you can kill him even if you get the jump on him. In conclusion, if you're opponent isn't going hardcore Juju is absolutely devastating! However if they're kicking ass RD barely allows you to compete and Juju just doesn't if they're rocking the E-HandCs.

Saw a Titan rocking the Juju like a boss last night. I don't see if often and personally I love it but hate low impact rifles so..

I use it but prefer my exotic for heavy weapon Now use a Crota pulse rifle

For me bad juju just doesnt feel right. But I also dont pvp much. And I like healing that much with red death. But I do prefer pve sooo.....

I get double, and triple kills with RD entirely because of it's second perk. It's one of the few guns where I can be outnumbered in a fray, and know that I have a reasonable chance of surviving it.

1 ReplyHa, I know how you feel. Picked up my Juju yesterday after not using it for months. Took out a whole team in IB while they waited for heavy. It was kinda funny, because they were probably like, "Just wait for him to reload... Jesus Christ, what is that mag siz- Oh."

I have bad juju, red death and a 331 spare change.25. I normally use red death. I switched to spare change.25 this IB and maintained a 1.3 k/d and got the iron wrath bounty most days on most guardians. I killed a lot of red death and bad juju wielding guardians. They too killed me, but I'm sure the spare change.25 at 331 bested them. I bet there are many unhappy thorn guardians too : )

5 RepliesI personally think Bad juju is a better gun, but as for thorn, i can outgun thorners any day. But as i am a warlock, i have a exotic that helps me become more resistant and that is the RAM, with my build *High strength and High recovery*, i'm all good, kinda makes the auto health for a red death useless to me.

I like red death because it makes those 2 v 1 encounters a little more manageable. If I focus fire on one guardian and kill him I can easily kill 1-2 additional guardians without reload and still regen health. With other weapons... After killing one Id most likely have to take cover to get my shield regen'd

After seeing, and using these guns in pvp, I feel like BJuju is better for voidwalker pve... just my opinion.

Red death has a faster TTK. I don't even understand how bungie expected it to be balanced in crucible. Juju is good because of all the other perks that go along with it, but a legendary with the same impact as juju is gonna be trash. Red death archetype weapons have the fastest TTK out of pulse rifles, and barely any downsides. That is, if you can aim for the head.
